Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I've been on Microgestin for 2 months now and I'm loving it, it took me 2.5 years to find a hormonal birth control method that worked for me. While on a different pill, I was having problems with suicidal thoughts and depression along with massive mood swings and breast tenderness. I was ready to quit hormonal birth control all together, but decided to give this one a try first. I haven't been having any negative symptoms, I'm very very happy to have found this. I only wish I could have found Microgestin sooner.

Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome: I have been on Microgestin FE 1.5/30 for 15 months. My doctor prescribed it when I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. My cycle would not stop for more than two days, then it would start again. As soon as I started the Microgestin, my cycle regulated the first week. After taking it for about a year my periods are extremely light and very short. The side effects I have experienced are acne, oily skin, and terrible mood swings the week before my period begins. I get very angry and irritable for about two days the week prior to my period. In spite of these side effects this pill has been great for me. I have lost 40 lbs with diet and exercise that I was unable to lose before taking this pill. I highly recommend giving it a try.
Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: After being on this for 18mo I am happy to try something new. Where to start? All seemed fine then it started to snowball. Mood swings (crying over commercials!), NO sex drive, break through bleeding that lasted longer than actual periods (3 days period, & 2 wks break through) & increased headaches.

Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: Whenever you start birth control, you're suppose to give it a three month trial before you determine if it's garbage or not. The reason being is because your body is adjusting to the new birth control, and of course you're going to experience break out bleeding, common birth control side effects, and of course being overly emotional. On the other hand, despite the break out bleeding and the mood swings I get from time to time, I love Microgestin! It's a reliable birth control if used correctly, so if you're forgetful, forget the pill and find another form of birth control! Within the past nine months I've used it I had lighter periods, didn't break out as much, and I didn't feel any weight gain. I recommend this product to anyone!
Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I started this pill after a horrible experience with implanon. I've been on the pill for over a year and I love it! My periods are predictable and very light, and have had no weight gain. I only get light acne (one or two pimples) when my cycle is about to come on I've had no breakthrough bleeding, but have noticed a decrease in sex drive, but not by too much.

Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I have been taking this pill for almost a week now and I am experiencing very bad headaches, stomach aches, drowsiness, moody, and depression. I have tried the bc shot, and about 4 other different kind of pills. Birthcontrol pills make me ill to say the least, but I will keep taking microgestin for a month to see if it will magically not make me feel sick. So far not so good. My family already think I should quit taking it because I'm feeling sick and they don't want to see me go through that again. I'm 18 just graduated from hs in June and for prom and grad night at Disneyland I was completely sick from the pills stomach hurt BAD. So I'm hoping my body adjusts well to these new pills praying . Everyone has different side effects.
Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: This birth control gave me cyst ance.. I never have had acne prone skin.. I was on this for one year, and I started feeling depressed and always tired. zero sex drive. No pregnancy scared and no weight gain tho! But I just switched to the ring and I feel like I am my old self again. I don't think i would take this again.
Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I've been on this pill for about two weeks, this is one of the best sleeping pill to ever take if you're have trouble sleeping, my breast are cup size bigger, and I seem to get more emotional than usual.
Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome: I've gained about 20 lbs in the past 3 months, a cup size & have tender breasts, but no other side effects. Was switched to this pill for my polycystic ovarian syndrome after using Lo Loestrin Fe for over year and had a lot of breakthrough bleeding. I used the Lo Loestrin in combination with Premarin until my doctor decided to switch me over.
Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I'm going on my second month of Microgestin. I was on Seasonique before pregnancy which I had no problem with but I have a new doctor now. The first couple weeks I had light spotting and nausea but it has decreased. I had my period right before the placebo week. I have gained about 4Ibs so far and my breast have went up a cup size but that is a plus for me. I have also experienced a huge increase in sex drive which is unusual. I have no complaints so far, I just hope my periods are predictable.
Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Menstrual Disorders: After growing up with terrible periods, some that would last up to three weeks and by that I don't just mean spotting, I finally chose to get on the pill. I really do not like the massive gain of weight in my breasts. I was a DD38 to begin with and my breasts have only grown even more being on my second month. They are EXTREMELY sensitive and I have put on 5-10 lbs which is something my doctor told me wouldn't happen. It has controlled my terrible periods but other than that the negative side effects seem to outweigh the positive. The first month was full of spotting and I constantly felt as if I were going to puke. Now on the second month my period is very under control but the weight gain in my breasts and body are two things I hate.
Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I've been using Microgestin 1/20 now for 2 weeks, I'm going into my 3rd. At first I noticed that my breast were very sore but within the past couple of days I haven't noticed it as much. I also know that I have one week left of this pack and I've already started my period, as well as the cramping. And I haven't been as hungry as usual. I can live with all of these "side effects" as I guess you would call it. But the one that I haven't gotten used to which happens to be the worst one for me and that is dizziness. Its not an everyday thing but its happened twice now in 2 weeks, twice in a week. The first time it lasted for most of the day, the second time it was just in the morning. I have a doctors appointment at the end of this week so we'll see.
Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I started taking this pill a few months back. The first two weeks were really bad. I bled constantly, acted crazy and called my Dr to get off of it. She asked me to stick with it for a month. So glad I did! I haven't had a period since, which I love. I've lost 6 lbs with no change to my diet and my breasts are up a size! I have so much energy. This pill is amazing. Stick through the first pack. It's tough, but very much worth it.

Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I started taking Microgestin about a year and a half ago. I've never taken any birth control before this. The first couple months I either missed my period or had little to no bleeding. As the months went by my period started to actually feel like a period and what I mean by that is light bleeding but last a few days. I've noticed I feel tired and hungry more often then before. Put on a few pounds breasts, felt sore. I broke out with horrible acne when I had to double up on the pill.
Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I started taking this pill for acne because I had terrible terrible acne but now my face is completely cleared up and I barely ever get any zits. It also makes my period a lot lighter which I absolutely love because I don't have to worry about it at school or when I'm out with friends. It also worked very well for me as birth control. It may have moved me up a bra size to a C but I don't see that as a problem. Overall this is a great pill.

Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: This is my first month taking it. My skin actually looks clearer. Lost 2 lbs since starting. Periods were always painful for me but not since taking this. Hardly any pain this time. I'm feeling lighter. I've actually lost my appetite a little. My skin has been feeling a little "crawly" every now and then since starting these pills. I keep thinking a bug is on me. I've been feeling a little more tired than usual as well so I've started taking energy shots. As far as my mood goes, I'm feeling slightly more aggressive. All in all, I'm happy with the results so far. I just hope things stay this way!
Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: Started this pill exactly a month ago and the first week was terrible. Felt nauseous about 6 hours after taking the pill, which made me very weak and sick feeling. Had to call out of work twice and leave early because I would throw up. My second week got a lot better started taking it around 8 pm and would sleep through the side effects. Still taking it today and feel a lot better.
Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I began taking this after my Loestrin 24 fe became too expensive. Loestrin always worked really well for me with very few side effects, but you can't beat free. Pros with Microgestin Fe: my skin is mostly clear (I rarely get pimples), and my period is usually light and I sometimes barely get anything at all if I've consistently taken the pills and don't miss one/take one late. Cons: Low libido, lots of breast tenderness, frequent headaches/migraines, spotting between periods, exhaustion, some weight gain (especially in my breasts, which is not a plus if you're already ~curvy~ to begin with). I just started using Reclipsen because I couldn't handle the low libido, breast tenderness, and headaches! Here's to hoping I do better on Reclipsen.
Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I started taking this in May and I have not had a period since. Mine were awful, missing school and socializing with family and friends. I have not gained any weight. I have been moody and my breast are very tender 24/7 and have gotten bigger. I would recommend this birth control for anyone who had to go through heck for a week. I do take mine at night so I don't get nauseated at all!
Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I was put on this after I had my 2nd son 3yrs ago and this pill started off great. The 1st 8 months were totally fine with this pill, it even stopped my periods which at 1st made me stressed but then I got used to it. As soon as the 8th months went by the bad side effects kicked in. I put on 20lbs, started breaking out, moods swings and PMDD were in full force. I started getting weekly migraines that literally made me bedridden.

Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: I was initially given two Lo Loestrin Fe samples and had no issues until making the switch to Microgestin Fe 1/20 a few days ago. Due to breaking out in a rash (which zigzags across the top of my thigh) and nerve issues (numbness/pain/tingling that's made it difficult to walk) with my foot, I had to stop taking the pill after 6 days of use. I'm relieved to know that it works for so many.
Microgestin Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I loved this birth control at first. I never had any side effects at all and then when I moved, I had to switch brands because my pharmacy didn't carry it. That brand was fine too but then I ended up moving again and got switched back over to this. Ever since the switch (it's been almost 8 months now), I have felt terrible. I get depressed and moody easily and I have completely lost my sex drive. When I do try to have sex with my boyfriend, it takes an extremely long time to get me aroused and we end up having to use lube every time. It's also made me gain about 10 pounds. Basically the only upside I've had to being on this pill is that I've gone from a B to a D.
