Junel Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I started Junel Fe in the summer of 2011 after being on Tri Lo Sprintec in 2010 and breaking out in severe hives the size of my fist. My doctor wanted to give me something that was low in estrogen. I was on Junel from august of 2011 until April of 2013. During this time my periods were regular down to the day of the week that I got them. However, my mood swings were TERRIBLE in the beginning. I mean bipolar jubilant to depressed in minutes. But that ended and it was perfect. I still had PMS and mild cramps but nothing insane like the beginning. The reason I changed was because they said Junel was not being made any more and my pharmacy gave me Gildess instead. All in all, regular periods and no pregnancy gets an A.
Junel Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Endometriosis: I have been suffering from endometriosis for 3 years. A low estrogen pill with iron "reminder" pills has been the only thing to help my severe cramps and bleeding. My periods are lighter but unfortunately not shorter. I'm willing to overlook that because I don't get nausea or headaches as much.

Junel Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: In February I started Junel. It's been very good with almost everything, but it hasn't helped with my cramping. I have regular periods that aren't heavy or light, they're just sort of painful. I haven't had any breakouts, major weight gain, or bad nausea. As for spotting, it only happened for a few weeks during my first month on Junel. My breasts also grew about a cup size.

Junel Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I'm very happy with this medicine for a few reasons, the first one being that I have not gotten pregnant, the second because I've been on other birth controls that gave me very bad side effects some of which forced me to go to the hospital. Last but not least and definitely not least, it kind of slowed my metabolism down a little and I'm extremely happy with that because I'm very skinny and it was hard for me to put on weight before this medicine but now I'm putting on weight very slowly. I have been taking it for 2 months now and I'm sticking with it.

Junel Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: Around December of 2011, my OBGYN prescribed Junel to me. Honestly, it's been great. My periods are lighter than they've ever been before. Previously, my cramps when I got my period were absolutely horrible. Now, I can only tell my period's coming when I'm on the fourth row of pills. Being regular is a huge plus. Also, me and my fiance have not found ourselves in any trouble while using it. As much as a couple may find themselves having sex, we have never once had to face the consequences. These have been great to me, and my relationship!
Junel Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: Junel cleared up my acne but took away my sex drive. I'm glad because finally I can focus on other things far more important. Super happy with this product!
Junel Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone): I didn't like being on this birth control. I was on it for about 2 months when I started to have seriously bad acne breakouts. I always would a few pimples before my period, but these breakouts were terrible, and they would last forever. I also started to break out on my chest. Something else I noticed was weight gain. I am an avid runner and when I started Junel I gained about 6 pounds and felt consistently bloated... which is very abnormal for me. As far as protecting against pregnancy goes it definitely did its job and I haven't noticed any significant changes in my mood one way or the other. I have cramping on the first day of my period but it isn't too bad and my period lasted about 4-5 days.
Junel Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: Junel Fe has caused me to be come EXTREMELY emotional and I have gained at least 10 pounds in my stomach area. I feel embarrassed because I am usually a small petite girl. I'm definitely going to call my pharmacist to ask.
Junel Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone): I love Junel. I was switched to Junel after my previous birth control had me bleeding for 3 weeks at a time every month and I got really depressed and gained a bunch of weight. Now I am on Junel and I LOVE IT. I have lost 10 pounds my headaches and acne are gone, my depression has decreased, no more fatigue and I have yet to have a heavy period. I only have 3 days of light spotting and I must say my sex drive has finally came back since my last birth control completely diminished it.
Junel Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I am on week three on Junel Fe 1/20 and so far it has been great. This is my first birth control pill. Today I am week three on Sunday and I started have some spotting. I haven't had sex yet without a condom, not sure if I should.
Junel Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone): I have only been on Junel for about 3 months after trying tons of other unaffordable birth controls. I've gained 5-10 pounds and I'm working out 5-6 days a week and recording everything I eat. Weight will not come off!
Junel Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I have been very happy with Junel. This is the 1st pill I have taken without horrible side effects. I experienced slight nausea and cramping on day 2, but that's gone away. I have slightly elevated hunger level, so I have needed to be conscious of food intake. No bloating, spotting, and weight gain. My libido has increased and my acne cleared up.

Junel Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Acne: I had been taking these pills for about 6 months and my period were great, skin was perfectly clear. Then I got off of them and now I'm back on them and my entire chin has broken out. I'm only on the 3rd week of restarting them so I hope it goes back to the way it used to be. Maybe its just the hormones going crazy for now. I don't know.
Junel Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: I have been using Junel 1/20 for almost 3 years now. The only positives I have experienced are no cramping and stabilized moods. My period consists of 2 weeks of spotting which I find incredibly annoying, I would rather have 1 week of a regular period. The worst side effect for me has been weight gain and the inability to lose weight. Over 3 years I have gained 20-25 lbs. I am unable to lose it despite having consistently worked out for 4-5 days a week with a personal trainer. I have completely changed my eating habits (cut out pop, fast food, and cut back on sugar and alcohol). I kept thinking it was my fault but after being committed to weight loss for 2 years and seeing no results, I blame this pill.

Junel Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone): I had very irregular periods accompanied by cramps so bad they caused vomiting. I have been on Junel for 3 1/2 years and have had significantly reduced cramps and a lighter, regular period. I do still break out but not worse than I did before starting the medication. I have experienced no other side effects.
Junel Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Acne: This pill certainly works for birth control and my periods are significantly lighter and shorter, but the acne on my face worsened and I suddenly had back acne as well. I had to get another prescription for acne medicine to get that under control.
Junel Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Birth Control: After I started taking Junel I got my period and I've had it for over 2 weeks. It's pretty heavy and I have bad cramps. Hopefully it will go away or I am going to discontinue it.

Junel Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone): I switched to Junel from LoEstrin 24 because of expenses. Junel being a generic of Loestrin.
I had NO side effects with Loestrin and I have ALL the side effects on Junel. I have HEAVY periods, painful cramps, 10-15 pound weight gain, and I can't get rid of it, no matter how much I work out and exercise. I break out EVERYDAY upon my chin. And if I sleep longer than 8 hours, like over the weekend I get pain throughout my lower back. I'm definitely switching.
Junel Fe 1/20 (ethinyl estradiol / norethindrone) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: My ob/gyn started me on this medicine after I started having my period every 2 weeks. I've been taking it for about 3 months now and have had the lightest and least painful periods of my life. They last about 2-3 days tops. But it does still carry some of the side effects that is why I dropped other Birth Control pills (in the past). I get very "mooody" leading up to the few days before my inactive pills and my boobs get HUGE! As far as weight gain, I haven't experienced any yet. But I consider myself pretty active, working out 3-4 times a week, and my weight hasn't moved since I started taking this medicine, hopefully this will change. Overall, coming from having very heavy, extremely painful and frequent periods, Junel has made my life much better.
