Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I was so scared to try this birth control but my doctor recommend it to me. I wanted to at the time to
try Yaz "miracle pill " because I suffer from PMDD and I thought that it would work out for me but she advised me to try Seasonique because you only get your period 3-4 times a year, so this is my second month and and it is working out great no weight gain and no acne. A little spotting but that's not a problem. Thought nothing would help me. This pill has saved my life and my marriage. I would get so crazy when it was time for my period. Love this. It worked out for me but everybody is different. You just have try to find the right one for you. I would read a lot of reviews and get scared but just try a birth control for 3 months then you will know.

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I usually don't write in these forums but after reading a few post, I realized that I needed to share my experiences to help someone else. I'm on my 8th week of Seasonique.
Of course I started taking it because I was attracted to the 4 periods a year. The first side effect I started experiencing was headaches, backaches and stomach cramps. It either went away or I just got used to it.
Secondly, I noticed my face breaking out along the jaw line. This has been a problematic area for me before but never quite this severe. I get once a week facials and there was absolutely no explanation for this.
Lastly, I've had these non-stop hysterical crying episodes.

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I've been taking seasonique for a month now, not for its usual purpose, but to help an ovarian cyst dissolve. So far it's just like most of the other birth control pills I've tried but I have noticed a few side effects. Nothing major, but still noticeable. I've had more breakouts but it's actually starting to clear up so I'm sure there were other factors causing that. My appetite has been stronger than usual ever since I began Seasonique. I try to keep it under control but I just get really weird cravings a lot. Lastly, I constantly have this cramp that feels like the ones you get a few days before you start your period. It's the kind where you can feel a dull ache in your lower back and lower pelvis area. It's not painful but I can still feel it.

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I've been taking Seasonique for 4 months now. I've had no break through bleeding, no problems with sex drive, no serious weight gain or acne. I've also noticed that my moods have become more level (as I was diagnosed with PMDD & my dr thought that leveling out the hormones for a longer period of time would help). Also, my periods only last about 3 days. Love this pill.

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I have been on Seasonique for almost a year now and have had no problems until just recently. The past couple of months I have been extremely bloated (to the point where I thought I was pregnant and took a pregnancy test) and have been very exhausted. I stay tired all day and no matter how much sleep I get I just want to lay in bed. I have also been bleeding very heavily for over 5 weeks now, and I am no where close to the time I'm supposed to bleed. The cramps and bleeding have been heavier/worse than I've ever had.

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Endometriosis: I have been taking this for endometriosis and have found it very effective. This isn't for the treatment of endometriosis but is for the prevention of pain that goes along with it.

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Endometriosis: I've now been using Seasonique for a year and I've been completely happy and unbelievably satisfied with this product. I have endometriosis so when my period came before I was on birth control it was dreadfully painful for the three to five days while I was on my period. I tried Yaz and it only made my periods regular, then I tried NuvaRing and that actually made my cramps worse and lasted for an entire week. After that I did tons of research and decided to try Seasonique. And for the past year I have only had maybe 2 hours worth of cramps the entire time. During the second refill I only blotted a little, but overall every symptom that follows endometriosis has disappeared! I highly recommend Seasonique. It's fantastic!

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I have been taking Seasonique for almost three months. I did not have a period until three weeks ago and I have been on my period for 3 weeks. It is very light, I have read through the information and it says your period can last for over 20 days. I do have a call into my doctor to see how much longer I need to have my period before I need to be concerned.

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel): LOVE this pill. I'm in the last week of active pills for the 3-month pack and I have yet to experience any negative side effects. No breakthrough bleeding, no sudden flares in acne, my weight has not fluctuated, and my sex drive is still kickin! Definitely recommend this pill to anyone considering Seasonique.

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel): As someone who just started on this pill, it's difficult to know from these reviews whether I'll be one of the women who will get a bad experience from it. I think it helps if one can learn of experiences from women with similar background. It would be nice if reviewers would please list their age, ethnicity, history of hormonal illnesses (e.g. thyroid problems, PMDD, etc.), if you've already had children before taking this pill, how long you've been taking the pill, and when did the symptoms started to appear? Also, experiences with other pills as is often mentioned in past reviews is much appreciated. Thanks!

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: Fantastic experience. 9 months on Seasonique and never had breakthrough bleeding. Slight appetite increase, but no acne or crazy mood swings. My last 2 birth control pills gave me insane mood swings. My fiance is thrilled with my choice in Seasonique.

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I am almost through my first pack of Seasonique and I love it. My doctor instructed me to take the pills for 6 weeks and then let myself have a period and then take then next six weeks and have a period. She told me to do this in order to reduce any spotting. I think that method may work because I haven't had any spotting at all. I have had an amazing experience with it. I also make sure to take it around the same time every day and not to miss a pill. That also helps reduce spotting.

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I was on Seasonique for 2 years. Seasonique started out as an okay form of birth control. It took my body a while to get used to it (probably about 2 packs, so 6 months). When I did get used to it, it was great. But then the problems started. I've never had acne or even bad pimples and my face started to really break out. Also, I don't know if my body got immune to the birth contrl but after a while, my heavy periods came back as well as the cramps.
Also if I ever forgot to take my pill and had to double up, I would get really sick. Overall, it started out great, but the effects were not long term. I've gained 15 pounds and my libido is very low and I'm very dry when having intercourse. Also, as mentioned earlier, it gave me very bad acne.

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I have been using Seasonique for a little over a year now. The first month and a half on Seasonique is great but then the spotting starts. For the past 2 1/2 weeks on the last pack I have been bleeding. It has given me acne and very painful cramps. I am switching to another birth control.

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: Well it worked to prevent pregnancy because there was no way I could have become pregnant when I couldn't even have sex since I basically had my period for a month! In addition I had the pleasure of getting severe cystic acne that I haven't been able to get under control. The cramps that accompanied my period were terrible. I'm going back on loestrin24.

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: Loved this birth control! I never had spotting or breakthrough bleeding during the 3 months of active pills. So nice to not have a monthly period. The only reason I'm switching is because my acne has gotten really bad because of stress.

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I just started Seasonique almost two months ago. For about the first five weeks, it was fine and I didn't have a period or spotting. Although, for the last three weeks I've been bleeding like a normal period. Also, ever since I started taking it, my libido is really low and I simply have no sex drive. My gyno says that the bleeding is just my body getting used to the new drug, but honestly, a three week period.

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Endometriosis: I've been on Seasonique for a few years and I love it. Only four periods a year and they are much lighter. I do have some spotting in between periods but only four periods a year, out weighs the occasional spotting. It has really helped me with my endometriosis. I rarely experience symptoms from the endometriosis and when I do they are usually milder. I would recommend Seasonique to everyone!

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I have been on Seasonique for almost three months now. The first month and a half it was perfect, then I missed it for three days when I misplaced it and began spotting. I want to try to have my period and then get back on it and take it on time this time. It kept my skin clear. My breast size increased close to a full cup size and I didn't have much weight gain. My sex drive was not lost at all. If anything, it increased.

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Ovarian Cysts: I am on my second pack of Seasonique. Day 2 of the yellow pills and my period hasn't come yet. Could be because 2 weeks ago I had a 10 day period with heavy clotting. I have had no bad side effects other than lack of sex drive which doesn't bother me since I am not having sex. I am using this to treat my ovarian cysts that have grown back.
Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: Yes, this medicine was a life saver in the begining. But recently I have felt as if I am losing my mind and myself. I have constant anxiety and when it turns into a panic attack it is draining. I have apocalyptic feelings and struggle to believe myself and others. I would recommend to not go on this medicine and save yourself the mental pain, because there are other measures that can be taken.
Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I have been on Seasonique for about three years. I was totally unaware of all the different side effects that women have been experiencing (such as the hair loss, etc.) In general I am rather happy with this pill. I rarely ever spot, my skin has not changed, my weight has not changed, and neither has my hair. However, over such a long period of time-- now that I think about it I don't really know if my hair, weight, and skin have changed due to Seasonique or the fact that I am no longer 19. Overall I like the pill very much since having fewer periods is always, always a good thing in my book. However I literally feel as though I have become an asexual due to my VERY little sex drive, which at 22, should be kicking.
Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel): I'm very happy with Seasonique. I had my tubes tied about a year and a half ago after the birth of my 3rd son. I have very bad PMS and very painful ovulation. I could not take being miserable 3 weeks out of the month any more so my doctor put me on Seasonique. I found that my face is clearer and my appetite less. Only down side is lack of sex drive. I get like that no matter what pill I'm on. I'm looking forward less periods a year.
Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: When I was first given a sample of this medication by my doctor, I read a bunch of reviews (it had been at least 3 years since I had taken birth control in pill form, I had been previously using Ortho Evra) and I was terrified by the side effects people were experiencing with Seasonique. I tried the medication anyway and didn't have near the problems other people were experiencing. I would definitely recommend this product to other people. I never had the break-through bleeding and my period came and ended on time. The only side effect I had was acne. I suffered from acne when I was a child and teenager and after having my son, it seemed to clear up. While taking the Seasonique my acne returned, but not as bad as previously.
