Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol / levonorgestrel) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: 2nd month. Weight gain, horrible acne, nausea, and SPOTTING EVERY DAY. Even started 2 full blown periods during this month and a half. Trying to stick with it, not sure.
Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol / levonorgestrel) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: I have been on Seasonique for over 6 months. I have had continuous spotting along with cramps for the last 16 days. My doctor informed me to skip the pills at the end of the pack so that I do not have any periods due to my periods being extremely painful. However, I hate the fact that I have been spotting for over 2 weeks. I started this birth control to treat endometriosis and to regulate my periods. Yet, spotting every day is not any better. I am looking into other options right now. I don't like bleeding all the time.
Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol / levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I started taking Seasonique about 6 months ago when my boyfriend recommended I switch birth controls. (I was previously on Apri 28 and it made me crazy) I love Aeasonique! It's amazing to only have to worry about periods once every three months! One con I did notice is slight cramping around the times I used to get my period, other then this the birth control is amazing. I have clearer skin, lost weight, and have been feeling like myself again. Would recommend this to anyone!

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol / levonorgestrel) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: I have been on birth control for 9 years for heavy/too frequent periods. For the first 6 years, Seasonique was amazing. However, especially within the past two years, I have had excessive spotting. For awhile, I was on the generic and just thought there was a difference between that and the name brand. Initially I had no problems, but I started a doctorate program and am sure the stress has a lot to do with it, but my spotting has started again. It'll happen any time I stress out or after having sex. I like not having my period for 3 months but now, im on my period more than a normal bc. Except it's worse. It comes unannounced and has ruined a number of undergarments.

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol / levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I was on this Birth control for 6 months, and started noticing a lot of side effects. I was losing more hair, my skin was getting drier and I was also so sad, and cried and got mad over anything. I went to my doctor and he ran me for some blood tests and came back to find out that my estrogen levels dropped immensely. I have switched to the Nuva ring - a low dose birth control. Other then that - I had no problems. If you have these symptoms I urge you to get tested for estrogen levels.

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol / levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: It's been 2 years, I spotted for almost six weeks straight on the first pack until I had the first period. I gained about 10 lbs but most of it was in my chest. I'm just now getting back to my "normal" weight, which also means my breasts are doing back down. Periods are really light, the last two packs nonexistent. If I'm not careful to take them at around the same time, I will get cramping and sometimes spotting. If the spotting doesn't stop within a few days, I stop taking the pack for a week and have a period and then start the pack again. Overall I love it, though I have noticed increased night sweats but don't know for sure it's related.

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol / levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I tried Seasonique 3 month supply for birth control & also to control my period's, for the first month I had no period then all of a sudden I bled for three months (full periods not just spotting). But you may try it and it may work for you, because as you know (no one woman's body is the same) so what happened to me may just be my case. If It works for you congratulations.

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol / levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I have been on Seasonique for two years now and I love it!! It took about two packs, or six months, for my body to adjust to the new period cycle, but it wasn't a problem at all. I was 16 when I started taking it, and was surprised in how quickly it worked especially with my ever changing hormones. Having a period four times a year is AMAZING, and I have absolutely no spotting in between. Plus, when I do have my period, it only lasts for four or five days, and the longer I have been on Seasonique, the lighter they have become. The only downside for me is that I get an achy back and back spasms during the time of the period, but they are not severe and end soon as my period ends. Highly recommend!

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol / levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: While on Seasonique I didn't notice the changes my body went through until I started doing some research , I loved only having one period every 3 months but the periods were painful bad cramps, lower back pain the first 2 days, the first 4 months were fine, then I started a month and a half long period but I stuck it out hoping it would be better, then things were going good until I started bleeding during intercourse, I went to see my doctor and she told me it was probably caused by the birth control, also since I started taking it I would get the sensation that I would faint, and I have fainted once while on it, had a little weight gain, it really messed up my hormones, guess my body didn't like it!
Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol / levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I have been taking Seasonique since I gave birth to my second child March 2011 and I enjoy having only four periods a year. However, I do notice that once my period comes I experience severe migranes where I am knocked to the floor in pain. I also get moderate acne around my jawline when I do have my period even though I do not mind it as much since it helps out with my acne when I do not have my period.
Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol / levonorgestrel): I've been on Seasonique for a little over 6 weeks. I was previously on Depo Provera on and off for the last 8 years (used NuvaRing on the breaks from Depo) and I was on Depo for the last year non-stop.
Seasonique is a life saver. On Depo I had crazy mood swings, uncontrollable crying fits, and severe depression. Within 2 weeks of starting Seasonique, I was a normal person! I didn't realize that Depo had created those side effects. I just thought I was crazy, but Seasonique changed everything for me. My acne even subsided dramatically and I'm finally losing ALL of the weight I gained on Depo. I really believe Seasonique saved me. I have recommended it to every female I know.

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol / levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: Started this thinking it would be a great fit for me. I am 23 years old, just had a baby 6 weeks before. I had stopped the bleeding after having a baby so I started taking the birth control. After a few days I noticed right away that my anxiety got really bad. I had ZERO patience for anything which was taking a toll on my family (this is not due to the new baby). I didn't want to be around anyone, everything annoyed me. I am normally a very laid back, easy going person so this was abnormal. The panic attacks would get so horrible I would curl up in a ball and cry. My sex drive was normal, but wasn't there cause all I would do was bleed heavily. I have been bleeding heavily for 3 weeks now. Stopped the pack after 2 weeks.
Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol / levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: Honestly I know experiences often depend on the woman but I had nothing but problems. I bled every single day for 4 months before I finally stopped taking it. It was awful. I am a healthy young woman with a regular period. My doctor said the bleeding was normal. But 4 months straight? I don't think so. That being said the up side was I didn't have worsening acne, weight gain, headaches, etc.
Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol / levonorgestrel) for Endometriosis: First 3 months I spotted but been on for about 8 months and it is amazing. Less periods means less pain for me PLUS my periods have been very light!
Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol / levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I've been taking Seasonique for two years. When I first started using it nothing major really changed with my body, but after the first couple of months I started to break out more often and my sex drive was practically non-existent. Two years later, the acne problem isn't as bad, but my sex drive is still gone and during intercourse I am also dry which makes intercourse uncomfortable. This was my first birth-control and I am now switching.
Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol / levonorgestrel): My 17 year old daughter has been on this for two years (both name brand and generic). She started to take it because of painful periods. She initially had monthly spotting, that eventually went away. After two years, she hasn't had spotting in a long time. She loves the infrequent periods, short periods, and no pain.

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol / levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I was going through postpartum depression really bad. I was on this pill for seven years before I got pregnant. I went back on the pill for postpartum depression and its calmed my anxiety. It has done wonders for me. I did not get pregnant on this pill.

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol / levonorgestrel) for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome: I love this pill! I used to have very painful periods and other birth controls would make me feel worse. My Doctor didn't want to prescribe me this but I wanted it anyway. I only get 4 periods a year. This pill doesn't make me gain weight and it has helped my acne more than others. I have been on this pill for over a year now and I will never switch to anything else. I trust this pill and am very satisfied with it! I would definitely recommend this to any woman out there!

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol / levonorgestrel) for Endometriosis: I have struggled with endometriosis and polycystic ovarian syndrome- so being put on the pill wasn't much of an option for me, I needed something to control the unbearable pain for it was really limiting my life. Since I began Seasonique over a month ago- I have had painful stomach aches that seem to be worst for the first few hours after I wake up. My emotions have been off the wall, everything is making me cry- I am easily agitated, and haven't felt like myself. I don't feel depressed- just irritated and emotional most days. I think the worst side effect has been the explosive diarrhea that sneaks up on me- embarrassing. This has never happened to me before, and now it's at least once a day an urgent run to the bathroom is needed.

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol / levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I have been taking Seasonique pretty much since it first came out about 7 years ago, and I've never had any spotting or negative side effects at all. My period usually starts the Friday after I start the inactive pills and is completely over within 3 days. I have always had awful cramps and mood swings, and the Seasonique doesn't help much with those, but it's not so bad when it's only 4 times a year. Overall, this pill is amazing. It used to be pretty expensive, but now it's only $20 with my insurance. Split over 3 months that is really cheap!
Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol / levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I was so excited to try Seasonique and have only 4 periods a year. I've been on it for a year now and during the first few months I felt great and didn't notice any side effects. As of the last couple of months I've noticed some unexplained weight gain and my face is breaking out. I've never had acne before and I exercise so I can only guess its the hormones. On the bright side, my horrible cramps have disappeared and my period only lasts a couple of days, although they have been somewhat heavy. I haven't decided if I'm going to try another method and see if these side effects go away.
Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol / levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I have really good insurance so the cost was not a problem. I've been on this pill for 4 1/2 months and for the first three months everything was fine besides the bleeding and breast tenderness, I started months 4 everything was perfect! Halfway through week 5 I experienced awful cramping, bloating, constipation, and headaches, hopefully they will go away! As long as I can get rid of that it would be a great pill due to the fact I'm anemic and it helps to not have a period but 4 times a year!
Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol / levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I have been so happy on this medication. I actually take the generic version and am on my 3rd month. I had been on Ortho Tri Cyclen for years. I am 32. Just some occassional light spotting so far. I have suffered from migraines for a long time, especially around my period, and on these pills they have decreased. My breasts have increased at least a cup size and are super firm (boyfriend approved!). No loss of sex drive at all. I have gained about 10 pounds, but I don't really mind the weight gain with having no period, no migraines and a free increase in breast size.

Seasonique (ethinyl estradiol / levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: About a week after starting this pill I started getting extreme cramps, the worst I've ever had, they would last 2-8 hours a day and no medicine would relieve the pain. I also experienced weight gain and acne.
