Portia (ethinyl estradiol/levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: Amazing ... I was on YAZ and it caused spotting and weight gain, after a year they switched me to Portia and I lost all the weight and haven't spotted since; also my PMS is completely nonexistent now and the killer mood swings I experienced on YAZ are gone too. I can't stop raving about how great Portia is, it made me feel like myself again.
