Aviane (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I first started taking Aviane in 2005 when Alesse was no longer offered. I loved it then and I love it now. I have no complaints about it. I recently started taking it again two months ago and it works the same. Little side effects. What I love best is I have not gained any weight as I have before on other pills. So before you listen to anyone else do your research and try it out for yourself. Hope this helps someone.

Aviane (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I have been on many different birth controls, Ortho Tri-Cyclen, Yaz, Yasmin, Mercette, and this is by far the best. Initially when you start it the first few month you may experience breakthrough bleeding but this stops by month three. I usually take it around the same time everyday which prevents spotting. It has cleared up my skin for the most part besides that occasional pimple before my period. My mood swings are the best on this pill, and there is absolutely no weight gain or off balance of hormones where you feel the side effects of taking hormones. I recommend this birth control to anyone but just be patient with the adjustment it takes to get acclimated to your body.

Aviane (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: Aviane is pretty good! I read all the horror stories other people have had with it but went and got a prescription for it anyway. I haven't had any adverse side effects with it so far. My sex drive has not gone down, my breasts do feel a little bit fuller than before. I have no complaints.

Aviane (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I feel that this contraceptive has both positive and negative effects. I'm a little disappointed my breasts have not grown at all since I've been on Aviane. My moods are slightly more moody, but my cramps and periods are painless. This is a lower level of birth control - meaning it won't make you gain weight or any other negative side effects others would cause.

Aviane (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: Pretty awesome! I had been on this birth control for almost three months but had stopped taking it since I broke off a relationship and no longer needed them. I was scared to try taking birth control since the previous one had really messed with me emotionally and physically. I had been on the Nuvaring. I did my research and found that Alesse had the best reviews, and Aviane is the generic for Alesse. At first, I had a bit of anxiety, fatigue and restlessness but after the first couple days or the first week my body quickly adjusted. I hadn't noticed anything abnormal about my periods and I had less cramps. I used to get irregular periods but while on Aviane I knew exactly when I'd get them. I have nothing bad to say about Aviane.

Aviane (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I have been on Aviane for about a month or so now and I have really been happy with its results. I have been through 4 other brands of pills and on those I became so mean my husband and I were literally on the verge of divorce. I finally found Aviane through my OB/Gyn and it has 100% changed my mood and behavior. I have not experienced any side effects and would recommend this birth control to anyone who has a problem with hormone imbalance causing significant problems in their life.

Aviane (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: Hasn't caused me to gain any weight. I've had less cramping with periods as well as lighter periods. The only negative side effect I've noticed is I feel a bit more moody/emotional during my periods, other than that it's fantastic. Probably the best birth control method I've used.

Aviane (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: Was on Aviane for a year with no problem, switched to Ortho for 3 months and gained weight, got acne, and my sex drive DIED. Back on Aviane for 3 days now and can already tell things are getting better. In my initial experience with Aviane, I felt a bit nauseous at times after taking the pill for the first couple months, but that went away. I didn't really gain weight, and didn't find it hard to drop some weight when I started a workout regimen. My skin was clear, sex drive great, maybe a little more emotional around period time but nothing out of control, really helped with cramps, and had a predictable and short/light period. I even skipped a period once on Aviane because of a vacation and had no side effects.

Aviane (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I have been using Aviane for a month and a half now and I see nothing wrong with it. It did not make me sick, I think I did notice a swing on my mood while I was having my period - not a serious one but I was more emotional, which I'm normally not. Hopefully it was just a bad week but other than that this pill did not affect my emotions towards more postive or negative.

Aviane (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: After my last two birth control experiences (Yaz made me a nightmare and Loestrin 24Fe gave me a rash and hives), this is a welcome change. I've had no problems since I started this pill. My mood is even and my periods are fine. I'm glad I finally found one that works for me!

Aviane (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: After trying a few birth controls I am now going back to Aviane. This pill worked the best for me and I am sick of experimenting. Most importantly I did not gain weight on this pill.

Aviane (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: By far the best birth control I've ever had. I tried 2 before and they didn't work for me. They made me gain weight and didn't even help with my period which is one of the major reasons why I got on birth control. When I first started this, it gave me major mood swings but after about 2 weeks it stopped. That was the only bad part. While on it for only 2 months I lost about 15 pounds and it helped so much with my periods. They are light, short, and I have barely any cramping. It's also cheap.

Aviane (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Endometriosis: I used to have such severe cramps that I would occasionally vomit or be completely incapacitated for the first few days. I tried so many different things to help, and was skeptical about Aviane, but not anymore. It worked. While I still experience a little pain on the first day of my period, it's nothing compared to before Aviane. I am continually impressed.

Aviane (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: Aviane made be feel excessively fatigued, and I still got the migraines. However, I started feeling nauseous, which is extremely uncommon for me. I decided to try to stick it out for three months to see if my body would adjust, but after a month and a half, I started vomiting and having such terrible nausea that it interfered with my daily life. I decided to quit this pill midpack because it was having such awful effects on me (in addition to getting sick, my heart was racing and I was very OCD). Last night, a few hours after the first dose I missed, I started having stressed breathing like I was having a panic attack, and I had to lay completely still on a couch for hours waiting for the nausea to subside.

Aviane (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: My only complaint is that my period has NOT ended and I'm on day 11. Who wants to bleed for 11 days and counting?! I'm going to my OB/GYN this week and will ask her to switch the pill. I haven't had any other side effects; no cramps, no weight gain, no acne, just abnormal lengthy bleeding.

Aviane (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel): I started using birth control when I was 13 years old and am now 19 1/2. Aviane was the first thing that my doctor prescribed. I went from having heavy periods lasting over a month and being spaced up to 6 months apart to having light almost pain-free periods that last 3-4 days. I used to have horrible cramping and lining issues, but now I rarely have light cramps and my moods have been so much better. I haven't experienced any side effects and never want to go off of birth control. I do not need a contraceptive but it works amazingly for periods and hormone regulation!

Aviane (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I have been on Aviane for a month now. I switched from Yaz because I felt like Yaz was making me very emotional. I was off the pill for a month and then started taking Aviane, the first two weeks I was super emotional and I broke out pretty bad and I hardly ever break out. However, my skin is clearing up and my emotional state is much better than before. I think it just takes a body a little while to get used to this pill. I did not gain any weight which is nice.

Aviane (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I took Aviane for 4 years and never gained weight. Worked wonders for me!

Aviane (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Endometriosis: I started taking BCP years ago, and Aviane more recently in the past year or so for endometriosis/severe cramps while having my period. I am now pain free, so happy!

Aviane (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: After being on Ortho-Tri Cyclen, which gave me every possible bad symptom in the world, I asked my Ob/Gyn to put me on Avaine after reading some good things about it. Avaine has been a God send. I have been on it for about a month now. No/very little weight gain. Hardly any mood swings(nothing abnormal from when I have my period). No breakthrough bleeding and no acne. I am on day 2 of my period now and it even seems a lot lighter than it normally was. Avaine is Amazing!

Aviane (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I have been on Aviane for almost a month. Everything is normal, no weight gain. Some little mood swings here and there but nothing that I can't handle. My sex drive has increased a lot. I'm on my third pill on the fourth week but I haven't started my period not too sure when I will but other than that I'm happy with it, no complaints.

Aviane (ethinyl estradiol/ levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: I was on Aviane for 2 months. I did not notice any change in my weight or appetite. The only negative side effect I noticed was my emotional state. Exactly a week before my period I was on an emotional roller-coaster. I could be happy, crying, angry all in a 20 minute period. I knew that I could not live like that a week and a half out of the month.
