Avodart (dutasteride) for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH): I've had 2 TURPS 11 years ago. Flow was fully obstructed for over a year. Flow has been decreasing. Have been taking this for one week and flow seems noticably improved. No side effects.

Avodart (dutasteride) for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH): I have been taking Avodart for about two years now. It was prescribed because of an enlarged prostate which was affecting my ability to urinate. My stream is much improved.

Avodart (dutasteride) for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH): I have been taking 0.5 mg of avodart twice a day for 4 years. I have noticed no side effects and lab results verify that nearly all testosterone conversion to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is blocked. Since prostate cancer growth is stimulated by DHT, and not testosterone, my PSA has remained low (below 1)with no tumor regrowth (after radiation therapy).

Avodart (dutasteride) for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH): This medication worked for me from day one! The flow immediately smoothed out. No problems for the first week of use, which is how long I have been on it.
