Yaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol) for Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder: I've only been taking this for one month for premenstrual dysphoric disorder and haven't even had my first period on it. So far I have felt generally more level and have found I have more energy. I take it at 10pm so any nausea is whilst I sleep. I have been waking at 5am but slowly things are improving on that front. I used to have joint pain with my PMDD and my knee joints don't hurt anymore. I have gained 2 pounds but I have also been eating winter comfort food so it could be that! I plan to exercise now my energy is returning so hopefully I can start to lose all my pregnancy weight from 2 pregnancies. So far so good - actually interested to see if my periods are lighter as they were awful before.

Yaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol) for Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder: I developed premenstrual dysphoric disorder after having my first child and it was unbearable. 2 weeks out of every month I would be terribly swollen and bloated, hungry, craving weird things, suffered from insomnia, had headaches and felt tired, and just really sick in general. I was also totally crazy and my moods would go up and down really dramatically. I just finished my first pack of YAZ and it has been AMAZING. Within the first month ALL of my symptoms have gone away and I feel great. I have even lost some weight. I had a slight headache and nausea the first 2 or 3 days I was on the pill but other than that nothing at all. I was afraid to take it because of all the negative reviews, but everyone is different. Worked great for me and has changed my life.

Yaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I've been taking YAZ for over a year now and I'm proud to say I have nothing negative to say about it. Everythings been well, I've got lighter and shorter periods, which I love! No abnormal things happening like mood swings or hairloss like other are experiencing. I think it really just depends on the person whether this pill is right for you, no 2 girls are the same in that area. I recommend it.

Yaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I enjoyed being on Yaz very much. I had to switch to a different pill because it's not covered under my insurance. The only side effects I really ever noticed were an increased sex drive, increase in breast size, decrease in appetite, mild reoccurring yeast infections (I've tested positive for track/yeast infections a few times but with little to no pain). Overall, I was extremely happy with Yaz and I'm upset that I have to start a different pill.

Yaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I'm 32 and never took any birth control pills. I was on the fence taking Yaz due to negative responses. I love this birth control and glad I took it. I only experienced light bleeding during the 1st month of taking pill. When I finished the 1st pack the bleeding stopped. I noticed I was emotional when I took the first placebo pill but when I took the 2nd I was back to normal. My doctor put me on the pill due to irregular periods and when they came on they would be extremely heavy. I missed work some days due to this. Well when I got my period with taking Yaz it came on when taking the placebo pills and was light, NO CRAMPS, very short. My skin looks great, I wake up happy as can be, no emotional issues, sex drive up.

Yaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol) for Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder: My mood swings were worse than before and I had no sex drive. My zits got worse and my breasts hurt all the time.

Yaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I've been taking YAZ for about 5 months and lately I've been having headaches. I don't know if these are tension headaches or if the pill is one of the causes. Also, I skipped a day in week 3 and I spotted for 2 weeks up until my cycle.

Yaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I've been taking Yaz for 3 months now and I absolutely love it. I've lost weight, without trying, and my periods have greatly decreased in heaviness and severity. I have not experienced any of the bad side effects like depression or tiredness, I wake up happy and ready to go. The only difference I've noticed that is not so great is that the first day of taking the placebo pill I tend to be emotional, but that usually clears up by the second day. Also, if I miss a pill I usually have stomach pain until I take it, which is actually a nice reminder to take it. I love Yaz though and cannot say enough good things about it.

Yaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I started using Yaz about a year ago - it has a good side and a bad side. Good: less severe cramps, lighter periods, lighter facial hair (my little peach fuzz mustache disappeared). Bad: Emotional mood swings every month on the first day taking the placebo pill, dramatically decreased sex drive. Overall I liked it and if I was not in a physical relationship then it would be great! But the decreased sex drive put a strain on my relationship so I am trying something different now.

Yaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I'm 19 and I had never taken any birth control before Yaz. It completely cleared up my acne and my breasts significantly increased in size but were very sore all the time. I had no noticeable weight gain or hair loss/growth or spotting. My sex drive was bipolar, however, and taking the pill also gave me occasional slight dizziness, yeast infection, moodiness, anxiety, and even depression which I had never experienced before. I often had intense headaches and stomach aches but no nausea. My period didn't seem to get any lighter or shorter and PMS, though typically not much of an issue for me, was no different. I got to a point where I just felt awful and had to stop taking it after about 3 months.

Yaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol): Just finishing 2nd pack. I have never taken birth control before. I wanted to try it because I have super super heavy painful long periods. The first month I had break through bleeding then it stopped. I have a much better mood now, skin is clearing up. It also helps with cramps, bloating and much more. Hopefully it will continue to be a great thing, only time will tell.

Yaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol) for Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder: I have been taking Yaz for about a month now and so far so good. Other than some nausea, I've had no problems. Hopefully that doesn't change.

Yaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol) for Acne: I am thankful to Yaz. Within a few days it cleared up my skin just as I hoped, but I did not expect it to work so fast. My chest has gotten a lot bigger but other than that I have not gained any weight. I seem to have lost my appetite as well; which makes it easier to make healthier food choices. Also, I seem to have more mood swings and am a little more depressed.

Yaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I'm on my 3rd week on Yaz and so far I feel okay, normal, but weight at 141lbs and I can't seem to lose or gain and I have to lose 20 pounds so I don't know what to do because eating healthy and exercising hasn't done a thing for me now.

Yaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol) for Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder: I have been on Yaz for a month and I feel like a different person. I lost 7lbs of water weight in two weeks, friends and family have noticed how much better I look. I went on Yaz because of severe PMS, which included serious bloating and abdominal heaviness, constipation, depression, fatigue and irritability to the point where I had been hardly able to leave the house the week before my period. I have energy again now. I'm not feeling terrible half of every month. The only side effect for me has been a thicker, heavier white discharge. I would recommend this to anyone with bad PMS. I love Yaz.

Yaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I was on this for awhile, then I started to break out with zits uncontrollably like I was a teenager again. NOT my cup of tea.

Yaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I've been on it for 6 months. I've become moody, depressed and I would cry over anything. My boyfriend hates it, and so do I. I'm tired, irritable, and want to be in my solitude a lot. It has put a strain on my life and my relationship. I am switching to a new birth control soon.

Yaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol) for Acne: Of course my acne got much worse before it got better, just as my doctor said it would. So a few months into taking Yaz, my skin started to clear and now it just glows. I couldn't be happier. Though I do get a small pimple here or there on occasion but NOTHING compared to what I had before. I highly recommend it and your patience will pay off.

Yaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol) for Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder: Yaz has been really effective. It is my third month taking it and my periods are normal. They last three days, they used to last nine to ten days. I'm happy with Yaz.

Yaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I can't say enough positive things about YAZ. I was previously on Tilia (Estrostep) and recently switched. In only 3 weeks, my face has almost totally cleared up and my skin looks overall so much better. I seem to also have lost a little weight which is always a plus. The only one negative thing I can say is I am a little more tired in the mornings but it's not too bad. I would recommend this product a million times over.

Yaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I have been taking Yaz for a month now. I have been on so many birth controls in the past and they all made me crazy. I feel normal on Yaz. The only downfall is I do have a hard time getting up in the morning. Extremely tired. There is no spotting though, no bloating, no headaches and I think I lost weight which is a plus.

Yaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol) for Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder: I've been taking Yaz for two years for Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), combined with a low dose of Prozac. It has been a great combination for me. I used to have extreme mood swings about a week before my period, even to the point of getting myself in trouble at work. Now, I hardly feel my period coming on and it's smooth sailing all month.
