Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium): I am 27 years old, and started taking Beyaz a few months ago. I was extremely hesitant about taking this because I was so, -SO- afraid of gaining weight. I have taken other pills in the past that have caused weight gain, nausea, bloating, etc, but this pill has proven me wrong, I have had no side effects, it's actually a bit shocking. So glad my doctor recommended this to me.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium): I was taking Yaz, but then for whatever reason the company added something to change it to Beyaz. Yaz was seriously a saint for me. Amazing periods, not hormonal at all, great skin, the works! I've been on Beyaz for over a month now, and I have not cried this much since I broke up with the love of my life over a year ago, and I have zero control of my emotions and how I feel.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium): I love Beyaz. The only side effects I have experienced is increase in breast size, increased sex drive and clearer skin. I would strongly recommend trying it. And definitely ask your doctor for the Bayer savings card that makes your first prescription $5 and only $25 for the rest of your prescriptions. I have no prescription insurance coverage so it is fantastic for me because I will never have to pay over $25. Hopefully it is as great for you as it is to me!

Safyral (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium): I'll break down my experience with parts of this birth control for you. 1) skin: totally cleared up my skin. EXCELLENT for that. 2) birth control: its the only form of contraceptive I use, and so far...no babies. A . 3) cravings: its hard for me to say, because I've ALWAYS craved carbohydrates and sugar anyways, so. neutral. 4) periods: on time. No break through bleeding. 5) mood: 100% TERRIBLE. I can not emphasize this enough. NOTHING will be wrong in my life, and I literally wont be able to stop crying. Yesterday, I think I started crying at 8am and continued crying at hour intervals until I fell asleep at 9:30pm. I get frustrated now over tiny things. I have mood swings. I act irrationally. But mainly I just cry. ALL. THE. TIME. and I'm just constantly sad.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium): The birth control pills I tried before Beyaz made me so emotionally crazy. My academics and social life crumbled to pieces. After stopping those pills my Gyno suggested Beyaz since I have a history of anxiety and depression, and I am SO glad he did. Because of my history and how hormones mess with those conditions, if Beyaz had the same mentally severe side effects I would be forced to forgo birth control altogether. But now my life is back on track and I deal with no emotional or hormonal effects from this pill, no nausea, no weight gain, and only headaches that went away after 2 - 3 months. Thank you BEYAZ.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium): Love BEYAZ. I was taking YAZ and LOVED that too. I do have breast tenderness with this pill and haven't with other pills in the past. I still give it a 10 because I feel great on this pill.

Safyral (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium): Only been on this pill a month but it is the only one so far that stopped the irregular bleeding I was having. I have tried Lo Estrin and Kariva and so far this is the winner! I will update after my second pack.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium): I had been on Yaz for close to a year and was using the Bayer card program to get my refills for $25. With the intro of Beyaz into the market, Bayer no longer offers the discounted price for Yaz, so my OBGYN switched me over so I could continue to use my savings card. Since Beyaz is the EXACT same as Yaz, just with folate, I expected to feel no different. SO WRONG! I am SO moody on Beyaz, fine one day and insane the next, crying for no reason, terrible all day headaches, and breaking out. I was NEVER like that on Yaz! Luckily my pharmacy has kept both prescriptions active so I can switch back to Yaz and just buy the generic. I miss paying $25 but I will pay $59 to be sane.

Safyral (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium): I just finished my first pack. The pros: I've lost 13lbs, my face is less oily, and my mood is better then it was. The cons: I too craved sugar after starting this pill, I had hair loss the first few weeks, my vision has became a problem especially in florescent lighting, started having headaches, I feel more tired and breathing has become heaver then normal, and breast tenderness.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium): I was on Loestrin FE for 5 years and I was also diagnosed with bi-polar disorder while I was in high school. Loestrin worked for a little bit but I gained 20 pounds quick. I still had sexual desire mentally but my body wouldn't react and I was always too tired or to moody or to emotional. And since I've been on it for a while the side effects seemed like they hit me a second time and it was like my period was playing peek-a-boo with me. But 3 months ago I switched to Beyaz and I've never been more happy and more...well....attacking my fiance. I give Beyaz a 10 and highly recommend it! And I'm 20.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium): I was on Yaz a few years ago until I couldn't afford it anymore. I absolutely loved it. My face was clear, my period was light and it worked magic on my ABSOLUTELY UNBEARABLE cramps. I've been on Beyaz for a month now and I am not really seeing the same things I saw with Yaz just yet. I was really nauseous for the first two weeks, my face is still breaking out (not because of the pill), cramps aren't bad but have not disappeared and my sex drive has decreased. I'm hoping this is just for the first month and things get better down the line.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium): I have been on Beyaz for only 5 days. My doctor recommended it knowing that I am a smoker, but I'm only 25. I already had a tubal ligation so Beyaz is for hormones and acne. I feel very nauseous and have severe migraines, loss of appetite extremely tired, also I have a nasty taste in my mouth that just won't go away no matter how much I brush floss or mouthwash. I'm not sure if I could handle these side effects being a 2 and 3, working full time I have to have the most energy as possible. These side effects don't help.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium): I've been on Beyaz for almost a month now. I really like it. So far I've had no side effects. THATS GREAT. I was on two other birth controls and they made me gain weight and made my acne get ten times worse and did not help my cramps and I got badly depressed. Since taking Beyaz my acne has not gone away completely but has not got worse. I have not had any side effects so far. I love it.

Safyral (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium): I'm about to finish my first pack and I have mixed reviews. During the first 2 weeks I was craving sugar like crazy. About the third week that calmed down though. I started taking Safyral because I was having break through bleeding with LoEstrin and already Safryal has regulated my period to just the week of my placebo pills. My period started late, but that's not a big deal considering this is my first month on this birth control. The most annoying side effect is the bloating. I don't think I've ever felt this bloated ever and I NEVER get cramps on my period, but I'm having cramps with this pill. I'm sure these symptoms will calm down as my body gets used to it, if not, I'm switching to something different.

Safyral (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium): Great birth control pill. I use it for contraception (the only form I regularly use) and for polycystic ovarian syndrome symptom management. Prior to trying Safyral I tried two other brands and had horrific side effects. The only one I get on this pill is cravings! Mostly for sugar and sometimes carbs which I try hard to avoid! I would highly recommend this pill!

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium): I went on Beyaz 3 months ago and just finished the third pack. I was noticing that I was always tired, nauseous, bloated, stomach pains, and eating all the time. I too thought I was in the early stages of pregnancy because of these symptoms. I started taking the pill because of horrible period cramps that would make me so sick and incapable of doing anything, it helped. Then I started getting really depressed out of nowhere, feeling sad for no reason, trapped in my own body and then that led to anxiety attacks and anxiety about when is the next time I will have this terrible feeling again. Because of that and not being able to sleep I am done with this pill! Thanks to everyone for sharing, I feel comforted to know I wasn't going crazy.

Safyral (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium): I started taking this birth control a while back and then stopped after I completed one cycle. I did have a little weight gain because of the carbohydrate cravings. Breast tenderness and bloating were also a factor. Those were my negatives. The positives for me were age related. I am over 35 and a non-smoker. Therefore, the extra vitamin B and folic acid supplements are excellent. I did stop taking them after the first trial because of the food cravings. After a few months, I decided to try them again. I am on a weight loss plan and have loss weight. I wasn't significantly overweight from the beginning, but needed to drop about fifteen pounds. I reached my goal. My only real concern at this point is will I have the cravings.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium): I've been on Yaz for years, and like most people I switched to Beyaz because of the saving card. I've only been on it for a month. I have NOT stopped bleeding/spotting since I got my last period. I've tried different birth control over the years and I NEVER had this problem before. If this is the same as Yaz I don't understand why I'm having this issue. I thought about trying it another month, but I'm not sure I can handle bleeding for 60 days if this continues.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium): I just finished month 2 of Beyaz and am hoping things get better after month 3. I have had just about every side effect that has been listed except for the mood swings. I have gained quite a bit of weight. In the first few weeks of taking Beyaz I was very nauseous and vomited a few times. I have daily headaches. I have zero sex drive and the thought of sex makes me ill when I am usually very sexually active. Thank goodness I have an understanding partner. I am unbelievably tired no matter how much sleep I get. I normally have acne on a regular basis but it hasn't gotten worse but I am patiently waiting for it to get better. I will continue to take Beyaz as recommended by my doctor for at least another 2 months and hope things get better.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium): I have been on Beyaz for a little over a week and I feel like a crazy person. Like so many of the comments I've read, I also switched from Yaz to Beyaz after its Bayer Saver's Program expired. Now I have headaches almost daily and am extremely moody. It's terrible.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium): I was taking Yaz and it worked amazing for me but about 2 months ago I was put on Beyaz and have had a yeast infection both months. I have not had sex in over 6 months, this is the only possible explanation for my yeast infections.

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium): I previously took Lo Loestrin and had depression, breakthrough bleeding and just a general feeling of blah. My MD switched me to Beyaz, and those feelings are gone. And, as a benefit, somehow or another I have lost like 8 lbs in the past month. OF course I exercise regularly, and eat right, but seem to have less of an appetite. Love this pill!

Beyaz (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium): I've been on Yaz for awhile and had no problems and a few months ago I switched to BeYaz and noticed a weight gain so I switched. Other than the weight gain it's not a bad birth control.

Safyral (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium): This is my first time using birth control pills. I have been on Safyral for a month and a half. It has cleared up my skin significantly but caused bad mood swings and nausea. I am switching to a new birth control with a lower dose of hormones to help with my mood.

Safyral (drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium): I have been on Safyral for 2 months. I like it a lot so far. I have had some break through bleeding but I think that is because I started the pill in the middle of my cycle, when I had an IUD (Mirenia) removed after 4 years. My skin looks great. I get mild bloating and breast tenderness just before my period which goes away with the start of my period. Nothing majorly inconvenient. I think that after a few months of use when my hormones get back on a normal cycle things will even out.
