Aczone (dapsone) for Acne "I am 13 years old and I have acne pretty bad. My mom was starting to get worried so she took me to the dermatologist. She gave me Aczone and some other gel. I have used it for about two weeks every morning and night. This is amazing! I never thought anything could help me but this really did! I love it!"

Aczone (dapsone) for Acne "I am a male in his late twenties and have struggled with mild acne for over 15 years. I have used, benzo proxide, exfoliants, tea tree oil, low GI diet, no skin touching and many other tools without consistent success. I have been using Aczone for 10 days and have had amazing results. I have had very few new spots appear on my face and when they do only last for 2-3 days. My pores felt clogged after application the first few days, but have adjusted to the texture. The anti-inflammation really reduced the redness in my face and gives me a nice even tone. Azcone has clearly made an impact on me having clear skin. I’ll follow up with status updates as my skin progresses."

Aczone (dapsone) for Acne "I cannot tell you how this product helped me. Background: I am 32 years old, never had acne until 30 years old. I went to the doctor and tried this out; it worked miracles. My faced purged for about a month, but I let it do its thing. If you use this the way you are suppose to, then this should cure it. I have used it for about 2 months. Yes, my face got dry, it purged, it got red, but it goes away. If you wanna put make up on after the cream, you must wait at least 30 minutes after application. I swear by this cream; my dermatologist, Dr.Brown. This cream takes time; you are not gonna see results right away. Just like any cream, machine(clearisonic) needs to purge all your pimples and the ones that are embedded in your skin."

Aczone (dapsone) for Acne "I have been using this for 1 week with an antibiotic called Solodyn (Minocycline). I have light acne but my biggest problem was painful hormonal cysts on my chin and this did not leave me dry like Retin-A did. I had noticeable results in just 1 week! With any skin issue I know that results don't happen overnight but I am so happy with this product that I had to review it!"

Aczone (dapsone) for Acne "I normally never write reviews, but this acne medication warrants it. I suffered the worst breakout of my life in May. I had tried everything under the sun to get my acne better. I was embarrassed to go outside my breakout was so bad. So, I went to the dermatologist and they prescribed me aczone. I put it on when I got home, and my acne started to get better pretty much right away. It still took a long time for my acne to get better- honestly 4 months- but it did it's job and my skin has never been clearer. I would not have been able to break the acne cycle without aczone."

Aczone (dapsone) for Acne "I give this medication a 2/10 because it didn’t do anything for me. I have mild acne that usually only flares around the time of my period. So my main concern was to curb my breakouts right before my period. I applied this medication religiously for over 3 months everyday as prescribed by my doctor in conjunction with other creams and saw absolutely no results. The acne did not get worse as other people here have reported but it did not get better. I saw absolutely no changes in the last 3 months of applying it. My acne would come and go depending on the time of month as it always did. So I am now considering discontinuing using this cream because it seems like a complete waste of my money. I read online that it is usually taken with oral meds for best results so maybe then it’s helpful when the other meds kick in. But as it is, on its own it doesn’t solve anything for me."

Aczone (dapsone) for Acne "I am a teenage boy that had one of the worst breakouts I've ever expirenced at the start of my jounior year. I normally had confidence, but this completely turned my life around. I couldn't even look at people in school, I just hung my head down. I went to my dermatologist and she prescribed me aczone ( twice a day) tazorac, (once at night) and kelflex ( twice a day). My acne was really bad. After 2 weeks I started seeing a difference, the huge bumps we're going down! A few weeks later and my face was smooth but covered in dark spots. Each week it got better and better, now about 14 weeks in, my face is almost completely clear. The small marks are still fading but it is almost back to normal! Make sure you stick with it, it takes time!"

Aczone (dapsone) for Acne "I'm in my early 40's and have always had acne problems and sensitive skin. This has done miracles for me. I saw results within 3 days. It is worth the price. Other things broke me out and made the problem worse. I hate spending money on things that don't work. I am so glad to find something that does!"

Aczone (dapsone) for Acne "Have been using Aczone for 3 days..after struggling with acne all over my jaw line it is working great. I am also using Differin at night and a very strong prescription vitamin also- which I like the idea of since it is not an antibiotic and it is natural. Never give up. There is always an alternate method."

Aczone (dapsone) for Acne "Ineffective for me. Used as prescribed by the dermatologist in combination with Ziana. Had the sensation of burned skin for one week. Only destroyed my skin not the acne. I stopped using it after 2 weeks. Acne was hormonal and cured by itself. "

Aczone (dapsone) for Acne "I'm a 46yr old female with cystic/hormonal acne. My dermatologist just prescribed this medication to me a few days ago, along with Retin A and Solodyne (oral antibiotic). The Aczone leaves my skin very white and dry in the areas I put it on. My whole chin area, jaw area is like walking around with white chalk on my face. I do use moisturizer over it, but it still returns when the moisturizer dries. The cystic bumps appears to gotten smaller rather quickly which is what I like about it. I just don't like the dry white flakiness it leaves behind. Maybe I'll switch to only at night and see what happens."

Aczone (dapsone) for Acne "Aczone is amazing ....I have been using it for about three months now along with Acanya gel and Doryx tablets. It has significantly reduced my acne. I am 17 with horrible breakouts around my mouth and chin. Aczone feels really fresh, and it doesn't make me peel. It shrinks my pimples. I still get breakouts but not like the ones before the pimples. Now I get just little bumps and the occasional whitehead. One thing about Aczone that is weird to me is that if I don't apply moisturizer almost immediately after applying the Aczone, it makes some parts of my face white and others brownish. Overall I love this product and I hope my acne just keeps getting better"

Aczone (dapsone) for Acne "I never had much acne as a teenager, but now I have developed breakouts almost constantly at 21. I have tried antibiotics and several prescribed ointments. They work for a time and then quit. I have used Aczone for 6 weeks and it seemed to help for the first 4 wks and now the past 2 I have probably the worst breakouts of my life. I stopped using and just went back to Proactiv and prescribed Benzopack and have some improvement. I was hoping Aczone would be the answer for me, but it isn't."

Aczone (dapsone) for Acne "I am 20 years old. About a year ago I started breaking out like crazy. Being that I had never experienced having acne before, I was EXTREMELY self conscious. I have tried everything to heal my acne. Monthly microdermabrasions, peels, IPL (intense pulsed light), skinceutical products, prescriptions( clindamycin wipes and Azelaic acid cream) but nothing could keep my acne away for more than a day or two. I tried Aczone. It has changed my life. In one week I had barely any acne left. My worst breakouts were always jawline cysts. They still try to pop up but the Aczone calms them down until they go away. Try it!"

Aczone (dapsone) for Acne "I have struggled with cystic acne my whole life (I am now 26 yrs old), and was desperate to find a topical that was effective. Aczone has been a game-changer for me! My breakouts have all but been eliminated-- and when they do occur (hormonally), they are much smaller and last for a shorter duration. I use it once daily, and it does not leave my skin dry or oily like most other topical ointments."

Aczone (dapsone) for Acne "The Aczone acne drug has done an amazing job with my stubborn acne. I have battled acne for most of my adult life. If you name it, I have tried it. The only thing that worked was accutane. It completely cleared up my acne and then 2 years it came back largely due to me starting to get my hormones regulated by taking testosterone due to low levels. The dermatologist suggested Aczone and Spirolactone. Both drugs have done amazing things for my skin. Aczone works fast too. I love the product. My skin has some dark scarring but each day it has gone better and it's kept my acne to a minimal. Customer for life. Try it. It really works."

Aczone (dapsone) for Acne "The "con" is that it really does take continual use for a good 6-8 weeks to see results. The "pro" is that when I'm using it my skin has never been so clear. I stopped using it a month or so ago when my skin was looking great and about a week after I stopped using it my skin broke out again (horribly) and it reminded me of what life was like before aczone. It really makes a difference!"

Aczone (dapsone) for Acne "Works great. Cerave I noticed moisturizer and face wash, hydrating and foaming caused my skin to become irritated and break out. Vanicream gently cleanser with aczone worked wonderfully along with cetaphil moisturizer with hylauronic."

Aczone (dapsone) for Acne "I m 36 years old and in the last 5 months I have had terrible severe acne in the chin area. Two weeks ago my doctor prescribed Aczone to me and it is working. There are no new ones as I used to have 1-2 new pumps everyday. So happy with the cream. I'm taking another cream called Retin-A-Micro and antibiotic."

Aczone (dapsone) for Acne "35 years old, had bad acne on my checks and couldn't get rid of it with anything......tried Aczone (morning) and Clindamycin (night) and acne has disappeared completely. It took about 6 weeks to see major results. Also, aczone didn't irritate my skin and make it peel off."

Aczone (dapsone) for Acne "I had been suffering from acne since puberty that progressively got worse as I aged. After trying every product on the shelves and still having no relief from the very painful acne around my chin. My dermatologist recommended this product and my skin has never been better. I will admit it took 3-6 weeks before I really noticed any changes but sticking to this product has not only treated all of my acne it also helped with the scarring. I have even stopped wearing foundation all together and receive many compliments on my complexion. My regimen is to wash and moisturize my face twice daily and apply the product nightly."

Aczone (dapsone) for Acne "I'm in my early 20's and have been dealing with acne since secondary school. Nothing has worked for me, both oral and creams or gels. About a week and a half ago I went to a new dermatologist. He prescribed Aczone. Deciding why not I gave it a go. It's now a full week in and I'm noticing an improvement. I realized that I still have larger bumps but my smaller bumps are basically diminished. I look toward to continuing the use of this product."

Aczone (dapsone) for Acne "For me Aczone worked better than anything else I have tried. I have cystic hormonal breakouts on my chin and jawline. I feel that it works very quickly and helps to prevent new acne from forming with twice daily use. It has no side effects and is non-drying."

Aczone (dapsone) for Acne "I am a 28 year old female and I have struggled with acne for as long as I can remember. I get several cysts a few times a month which always seem to scar. After discussing this with a new doctor, I was prescribed Aczone. I have tried almost every other cream on the market. I use Aczone every night after washing my face. Within the first few weeks my acne got worse. My doctor did warn me of this. She told me to not give up and to give it 3 months minimum. By the end of the first month, my skin had improved significantly. I have used Aczone for 5 months now and I have not had a single cyst or breakout. The medication is a bit pricey so I recommend getting a coupon. I highly recommend it to any female with hormonal cystic acne. Great product."
