Very helpful after L4-L5 rupture. I cannot tolerate opioids; my doctor was not too optimistic about this alleviating my pain (and it doesn't), but it, along with NSAIDS and steroids, allows me to deal with it.

Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine) : After herniating a disc in my lower back, I was having horrible spasms in my lower back and buttock, especially the puriformis muscle which squeezed the sciatic nerve causing horrible pain. After being on Flexeril for one week along with Vicodin, the spasms were much better and I could begin physical therapy.

cyclobenzaprine for Muscle Spasm: I was rear ended in an auto accident. The second doctor I saw for the whiplash injury prescribed cyclobenzaprine as well as 800mg Ibuprofen. The two work quite well together. I'm able to move with more ease during the day. It also has helped quite a bit with muscle spasms at night. The only side effects I've had are dry mouth and some minor dizzy spells.

Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine) for Muscle Spasm: I have been on Flexeril for 6 months, after finding out that I get muscle spasms in my neck that cause very bad migraines. I like this because I don't feel tired or loopy. It does take a little while to take effect though.

Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine) for Migraine: I get aura's without the headache (as well as the headache separately) which consisted of loss of speech, loss of power in my limbs etc and found that Flexeril often helps to prevent the aura's. Not sure why, and it isn't as effective any more, but to begin with as soon as I stopped taking it the symptoms would come back. After a year, I was able to stop taking it and the auras stayed away. Unfortunately, after 10 years they have come back and Flexeril doesnt seem as effective against them.

Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine) for Migraine: I have Flexeril prescribed to me because I suffer from migraines. I'm 17, have been getting migraines for about 9 years and have been on flexeril for about 2 years. I only take it occasionally when I get a bad migraine and need sleep to help with the pain. Although it's not usually prescribed for headaches or migraines, it helps reduce the pain lots and helps me sleep while I have a bad migraine.

Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine) for : My doctor prescribed Flexeril after finding I had a posterior disc protrusion in my neck and degenerative disc disease in my lower back. I must say it worked great in reducing my pain and helped me sleep at night when the pain was the worst. My doctor told me Flexeril was far less addictive than similiar drugs such as Soma. I am very pleased with its results.

Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine) for Muscle Spasm: I take fexeril with Ultram and it does me wonders. I'm 27 and have a very bad back and neck. I take them in the mornings to keep the pain away while staying active. The only problem I have with fexeril is that may heart likes to race every-once-in-awhile and if I take it and don't do anything I fall asleep.

cyclobenzaprine for Muscle Spasm: I use cyclobenzaprine whenever I strain or pull a muscle in my lower back. Typically I have to take one dose on two consecutive days before I can feel the muscles in my back, "unclench", so that I can straighten up and move without pain.
I use a couple of Ibuprofen also to reduce inflammation. The ease and convenience is second to none.

cyclobenzaprine for Muscle Spasm: After suffering from a severe back injury, I found that this medication used in conjunction with an anti-inflammatory type drug (Naproxen) was more effective than large doses of Lortab. Pain is significantly reduced without the side-effects of other pain medications. Other than not hurting as much, I can't tell I'm taking it! This is a big improvement!

Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine) for Muscle Spasm: I'm not sure of the dosage that I was on, however against my doctors orders I was doubling up on my dosage. It was helpful, but not nearly as helpful as other medications that I have taken. I have a job where I have to do a lot of heavy lifting, so muscle sprains are common and something that I have commonly been treated for.
