Klonopin (clonazepam) for Anxiety: I've taken Klonopin as needed for several years now. It is the only thing that works when I feel a major anxiety issue coming on from progressing into a full blown debilitating attack. However, it always helps with that, too.
Like someone else said, it has a longer half life and you don't experience the drop off anxiety spike like some people do with Xanax. Xanax actually made me feel more anxious when it wore off between doses.
I haven't had a problem with dependency as I only take it for a few weeks at a time every other year or so. I'm careful to taper off over a couple weeks so I don't get rebound anxiety.
All in all, it's been a lifesaver for me.

Klonopin (clonazepam) for Panic Disorder: Bad things in my life caught up with me and from Friday night until Monday morning I had panic and horrible anxiety. I was prescribed Klonopin 0.5 mg three times a day and I haven't had a panic attack since. I've been on it for 3 months and I am almost weaned off it.

Klonopin (clonazepam) for Anxiety: Klonopin is a wonderful drug for anxiety and panic attacks. However, once you start it is very hard to come off of. I stopped for 2 yrs and it took me 8 months to feel normal again. But if you really need it, this in my opinion works wonderful for anxiety and panic attacks.

Klonopin (clonazepam) for Anxiety: I think this drug works. Took the wafers after my boyfriend died and they helped me get through the day really well. I don't feel like this is nearly as strong as Xanax or Ativan and I function perfectly normally when taking it. I was prescribed 1 mg 3x/day and it was good, then was put on 0.5mg 3x and I don't notice it at all. I take Effexor also which helps with anxiety. Also, recovering heroin addict so this plus Suboxone helps a lot although doctor doesn't like to prescribe it because I have a history of serious addiction. Be wary, this is one of those drugs like Xanax where you can take a lot and think you are okay but everyone else can see that you are "off". Don't mix with narcotics.

Klonopin (clonazepam) for Night Terrors: I had a horrible time with night terrors. I'm 30 years old, and it was embarrassing to say the least. I get the odd night-mare, but NO night terrors! It also helps me to fall asleep faster. I'm on 2 mg a day.

Klonopin (clonazepam) for Restless Legs Syndrome: I use klonopin for panic disorder and RLS. It works amazingly for my panic, but it has actually worsened my RLS! It does make me sleepy, but every time I'm about to doze off, the kicking and terrible feelings come back in my legs. I can't stop moving them for at least an hour. I'm glad it works for some people, but it doesn't work for me. I'm on 2 mg a day.

Klonopin (clonazepam) for Anxiety: I have been on Klonopin for years now to treat my severe anxiety. Initially I tried other things like Xanax, Ativan, and Valium. None of those compared to the relief I felt taking this. The only downside is having to take more due to tolerance increasing, but it seems a very small price to pay to be able to function in the "real world". I recommend this to anyone who needs help managing their anxiety, well in conjunction with therapy.

Klonopin (clonazepam) for Insomnia: I have been prescribed all types of sleeping aides and have found this to work the best. I seem to have "hangovers" from most of the other meds, or they stop working. I can take this at any time of the night and wake up feeling refreshed.

Klonopin (clonazepam) for Anxiety: For me it has worked great. At first when I felt a panic attack coming on I took .5mg as soon as I felt it coming on and within 5-10 min I felt incredibly better. After about 3-4 months I was up to 1mg daily at most. It seemed to lose effectiveness after about 5 months so my Dr has tried other medications and weened me off the klonopin. After several months of trial and error (Guinea-pigging) I asked the Dr to put me back on the klonopin and it has since worked great again. Ive been back on it for about a month now. Hope it continues to work. I rated a 9/10 only because it lost effectiveness for awhile.

Klonopin (clonazepam) for Panic Disorder: Only drugs I find to be helpful from years of panic attacks were adivan and klonopin. I have been on many medications. I think you should start with Adivan and then be wean down to klonopin. I haven't found one antideprssant to stop panic attacks. I have been on many of them. Some of the medications they have listed here for this is unbelievable to me. They cause more harm then good. Many of them cause panic attacks.

Klonopin (clonazepam) for Anxiety: My doctor prescribed Klonopin for anxiety and it has worked...like a warm comforting blanket wrapping around you. This is only my second day on the this new medicine but it has lessened my desire for the opiates I was on, or at least made it a lot more comfortable and I can function without feeling so many of the discomforts of withdrawal coming off Vicodin. My doctor prescribed 1mg 3 X a day. I'm taking as directed and with prayer and faith, I'll not only get through this but the more important issue is going to Duke University Medical Center because my husband is at risk for a massive stroke unless they perform a surgical procedure that only a few doctors in the world can perform..two are at Duke.

Klonopin (clonazepam) for Anxiety: Klonopin has made me the woman I was prior to menopause. I am so very grateful. I could no longer stand the sleepless nights, horrific night and day sweats, constipation, anger attacks, anxiety attacks and bouts of depression. A friend told me about Klonopin. It works without causing any side effects. I pray it continues as I honestly wished to just not exist any longer. I am once again functioning daily, interacting with family and feeling normal/rested/happy each day.

Klonopin (clonazepam) for Panic Disorder: I suffered from panic attacks, anxiety and depression for years. Since I started taking clonazepam, I haven't had a single attack! This drug has changed my life for the better. I still have some anxiety and depression, but I'm taking something else for those. My only wish is that I didn't wait so long to try the medication!

Klonopin (clonazepam) for Anxiety: This drug is pretty good. I like how 1 dose can last most of the day, but I was on 1mg klonopin after being on 2x2mg lorazepam a day and the klonopin doesn't seem as effective. I like it because it does not cause as much drowsiness as Xanax, but it does make me a lot more drowsy than lorazepam. You can take it once a day for simplicity, but like all benzodiazapines are addictive.
I started suffering bad panic attacks after switching, but I believe that was the mistake of my doctor by not converting the doses correctly.

Klonopin (clonazepam) for Panic Disorder: I have been on Klonopin for about 6 years now, started on 2 mg a day and have been on 4 mg a day for around 2 years now. It works great. I started suffering from panic attacks around the age of 15 or so and it lasted until I went on Klonopin in my mid 20's. I tried many anti-depressants (Paxil, Zoloft, Buspar, etc) and even Stattera. None seemed to help. I can tell you that I will be on this for the rest of my life, it has allowed me to be the person I should be.

Klonopin (clonazepam) for Panic Disorder: This medicine works very well for my panic disorder yet it is also a very strong drug. I was on Xanax for years until my doctor said that Klonopin would work better for me because it is a longer lasting drug then Xanax. well he was right it was long lasting and made me feel tired all the time. That is all I did was sleep on this drug for 2years until I had enough and told him no way. I want Xanax back. I have been back on Xanax for 12 years now with no problems. If you do not abuse Xanax it is a great drug. Klonopin might work for you if you are on it great. Peoples chemistry is different. It just was not the right drug for me good luck everyone.

Klonopin (clonazepam) for Anxiety: It seems to be working great for me. I've tried all the others XANAX, VALIUM, etc. It definitely lasts longer throughout the day. The worst side effect is the slurred speech.

Klonopin (clonazepam) for Panic Disorder: I have been on 1MG of Klonopin, twice a day, for about six months now to help with panic attacks and anxiety. The drug has worked wonders for me. It seems to work within an hour after taking it. I feel like a whole new person now. There is no feeling of unnecessary anxiety like I felt before. Prior to taking this drug, I would get terrible anxiety for no apparent reason. I was at the point where I was avoiding people and when I did get the courage to go out in a social setting, it was a constant fight to just feel comfortable. Klonopin has literally destroyed those feelings. When I first started taking it, I tested it out by putting myself in various social settings. Not even a remote feeling of anxiety. Thank you Klonopin.
