Hydro-Tussin DHC (chlorpheniramine / dihydrocodeine / pseudoephedrine) for Cough and Nasal Congestion: My daughter suffers from severe allergies with a persistent cough. We have tried so many different medications from OTC to prescription. This actually lets her rest and quietens her cough completely. Very effective. I only use it if all else fails due to the narcotic in the medication.
