Coartem (artemether / lumefantrine): Coartem is used to treat malaria, a disease caused by an anopheles mosquito. It works by interfering with the growth of parasites in the red blood cells. Do not use Coartem to prevent malaria but use it to treat it. Coartem really gave me a good recovery but not really the best as compared with Fansidar. It is only used to treat non severe malaria.
