Augmentin (amoxicillin / clavulanate) for Urinary Tract Infection: After a few days taking Augmentin I had shortness of breath, dizziness and my tongue starting to swell up. My skin felt like was on fire. I had to go to ER, doctor there said I was allergic to that medicine.

Augmentin (amoxicillin / clavulanate) for Skin and Structure Infection: I have an active pilonidal cyst. For those not familiar with this condition, it is extremely painful. It involves a massive infection. I have been treated with Augmentin XR for 11 days so far. After about 8 days, I could feel a noticeable improvement. It works great, however, it is rather rough on your digestive system.

Augmentin (amoxicillin / clavulanate) for Bronchitis: Had bronchitis after five weeks from having CABG surgery. My doctor prescribed Augmentin and it worked after having the first pill. At this time I am in my second day and the fever is gone minor cough and to my surprise my sinuses are clearing too since I have chronic sinus alergies.

Augmentin (amoxicillin / clavulanate) for Bronchitis: On the 5th day, I experienced dizziness, fatigue, tachycardia and my muscles were very weak. I could barely focus and my hands were shaking.

Augmentin (amoxicillin / clavulanate) for Sinusitis: I had a severe sinus infection and went on Augmentin 875, it has helped. No more headache and facial pain. I was extremely dizzy, nausea, loss of appetite, severe mood/personality change, and hyperactivity. I went off the medicine on day 5, could'nt take the side effects.

Augmentin (amoxicillin / clavulanate) for Sinusitis: I felt like crap 36 hours ago (headache, toothache, congested nose) but feel SO much better after 4 doses. I should have gone to the doctor sooner. Mild impact on my digestion, but I'll take that any day in lieu of the debilitating headache and toothache I was experiencing.

Augmentin ES-600 (amoxicillin / clavulanate) for Strep Throat: My son was first given Amoxicillin 400mg/5ML SUSP for his strep throat, but that was not effective in treating his bacteria. He continued to have a high fever so Dr.'s perscribed Augmentin ES-600 SUSP. My son who is 11 years old would LOVE to go back to the Amoxicillin. The taste of the Augmentin is "like swallowing chalk" as my son describes. It also seems to be affecting his taste buds. Everything tastes terrible this week. He is only on day 4 of a 10 day supply, twice a day.

Augmentin (amoxicillin / clavulanate) for Sinusitis: I have horrible allergies and get frequent sinus and ear infections. Have been on Z pack, Amoxicillin & Biaxin. Augmentin is the only thing that clears it up. Minimal side effects (some mild nausea) and fast acting.

Augmentin (amoxicillin / clavulanate) for Sinusitis: Had a terrible sinus infection and was prescribed Augmentin, It began to work an hour later. No side effects.

Augmentin (amoxicillin / clavulanate) for Strep Throat: The throat pain is gone but have serious diarrhea. However have been wondering about implications in breastfeeding.

Augmentin (amoxicillin / clavulanate) for Upper Respiratory Tract Infection: I take Augmentin when I get a sinus infection and it works fast.

Augmentin (amoxicillin / clavulanate) for Bacterial Infection: I had a really bad fever and swollen tonsils and this medicine did make all the symptoms go away but after about three days of taking it I now feel sick from the constant diarrhea and nausea.

Augmentin (amoxicillin / clavulanate) for Bacterial Infection: Medicine worked great re: double infections; couple days I could feel difference. HOWEVER, side effects were terrible; still around after completing 10-day treatment. Even with daily probiotics and yogurt the digestive/intestinal issues were bad, constant trips to bathroom; eating would immediately create "stomach talk"; could not leave house; had to cancel family trip as travel would have been difficult. Lethargic, weak, blurry vision, exhausted; with all of this it really affected my mentality. FYI: On the 2nd day when side effects began, I spoke with my pharmacist who encouraged me to stay on it if I could endure these "common" side effects, none being allergic. It has worked but still healing from side effects.

Augmentin (amoxicillin / clavulanate) for Bronchitis: I have taken this medication twice. Both times I developed severe diarrhea that lasted several weeks. I could not leave the house for any reason because the diarrhea was almost constant.

amoxicillin / clavulanate for Bacterial Infection: I had a bad experience. I felt with deep depression, a very bad feeling in my mind. I stopped taking and everything returned to normal. I think it was because of Clavulanate

Augmentin (amoxicillin / clavulanate) for Bronchitis: Augmentin helped my bronchitis, but quickly gave me diarrhea, then by the 5th day it gave me genital dermatitis! May work for some without such severe side-effects.

Augmentin (amoxicillin / clavulanate) for Bronchitis: Went to urgent care for chronic bronchitis and doc gave me Biaxin which I told him it did not work in past...fever elevated two degrees in two days..went back he gave me doxycycline which eventually stopped the yellow mucus production for a few days then right back. I went to my own doctor this morning and she gave me Augmentin. Have an allergy to Avelox. After one dose I can tell this is working better than doxycycline did in two days so definitely recommend.

Augmentin (amoxicillin / clavulanate) for Bacterial Infection: Took Augmentin for one day and had skin reaction, very red and itchy, not pleasent at all.

Augmentin (amoxicillin / clavulanate) for Bronchitis: Started to work RIGHT AWAY.

Augmentin (amoxicillin / clavulanate) for Sinusitis: Amazing - works extremely fast. Side effects are short-lived and petty compared to the efficacy of this medication.

Augmentin (amoxicillin / clavulanate) for Bacterial Infection: Had an allergic reaction - facial swelling, lips and nose.

Augmentin (amoxicillin / clavulanate) for Strep Throat: This is only my second day on the medicine. The swelling and pain has gone down dramatically however the side effects are bad. Horrible cramping, abdominal pain and of course, wretched diarrhea. Like I said, I'm only on my second day, let's just hope this doesn't last much longer.

Augmentin (amoxicillin / clavulanate) for Bronchitis: Awesome. Biaxin failed, Augmentin worked.

amoxicillin / clavulanate for Strep Throat: No adverse side effects at all and I am the worlds worst for taking tablets and worrying about the side effects. I was really very poorly but by day 2 of taking the medicine I was feeling so much better and back in the land of the living.
