Maalox (aluminum hydroxide / magnesium hydroxide / simethicone) "I had Acute severe epigastric pain and Maalox worked within minutes. I was given this mixed with lidocaine in the ER due to undiagnosed severe stomach pain. While my tongue felt weird, my pain went away in minutes. Please note that this is generally not over the counter or a prescription, my PCP wasn't able to prescribe it."

Gelusil (aluminum hydroxide / magnesium hydroxide / simethicone) "I always use Gelusil when I suffer from acidity or indigestion. It has given me quick relief. I like the texture of the chewable tablet that helps even to get the gas out."

Several family members also use it. Mild taste. It really does work well and would recommend to anyone needing such a product."
