Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis: I just want to say that Drysol really works for me, its been 2 weeks now and I've used it like 3-4 times and haven't seen a drop from my armpits yet. Let me tell you how good Drysol is - I put it on Thursday, the day I got it, and my armpits were dry that whole weekend. All I did is took a shower for everyday I went out, Friday, Saturday and on Sunday I was at the game. I didn't have time to put it on more than once that whole weekend and my armpits were dried. Nothing works like Drysol. I'm writing this because I hope this post helps someone else. I did a lot of research but I'm done. This is my last stop. I just wanted to leave feedback and big thanks to people who made it.

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis: I suffered from excessive sweating since I was about 12 years old. I'll never forget it. It was WINTER and I took off my coat and saw sweat under my arms through my sweater. This continued for YEARS. It was embarrassing. Being nervous definitely increased this issue. When I reached about 20 years old, I was using paper towels under my shirts, attached to my bras. Summer time was dreaded. I was miserable. I owned tons of black shirts. In the summer I'd walk one block and my armpits would be drenched. Now, to be perfectly honest, I am a beautiful woman. Mixed race, slim, nice hair, light eyes... But no matter what, the sweating made me want to hide. Indoors. All the time. Just sitting still made me sweat. It was horrible.

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis: I'm 17 and my hands were sweaty whenever I thought about it...lately I've been thinking about it all the time cause i was worried about shaking hands and/or leaving sweaty marks after me whenever I touched something. It's got really bad and I went to see a doctor. She told me to try Drysol, which I did and it worked great, but not at first...it actually made my hands sweat even more, probably cause I was stressed about if it was gonna work or not. It started to work, after applying it twice a day for a few days (doc told me to). The last time I used it was like 5 nights ago, and my palms have been so dry since that I had to use a hand cream. Yeah, unbelievable!!
Just dont give up on it too fast and it will work..good luck!

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis: I was sweating all the time and had to shower/change up to 6 times a day. Used the DrySol 3 nights in a row, under arms, feet, even top of legs and under belly. When dry, I put plastic over all areas, covered feet with socks, wore nightie with sleeves, undies held-in plastic at top of legs. The idea is to use at bedtime in this manner, so the product doesn't rub-off AND because this is when the sweat glands are most dormant. Now I only need it twice a week. I use regular deodorant in the morning. Keep in mind: 1) You only need a very small amount to prevent burning your skin 2)Otherwise it must be washed off. 3) Dab under arms ONLY where hair grows. Don't use after shaving! I can now wear tops TWICE and can wear regular shoes. DrySol, you're the best!

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis: The first night there was no problem. Since then every time I have attempted to use it, it really hurt. I am thinking at this point I'd rather sweat.

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis: I can't remember a time when I DIDN'T sweat! That all changed a month ago. I bought Drysol and also the mild Drysol for my face. I was unsure about it at first, because when I put it on, the tingling was very intense. The first day I only left it on for four hours and then washed it off because I couldn't take the tingling. The second night, I went all night...the tingling was less. I only did those two nights and I didn't sweat for almost a week. I use it under my arms and the mild Drysol on my face. I do not recommend it to anyone with really sensitive skin, but I DO recommend it to anyone who is desperate for a solution to their problem with hyperhidrosis.

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis: I have been using this medication for 2 years now and it has worked great. I had used it in the past when I was younger but it was not effective as I was not using it correctly. I then saw another dermatologist who gave me some tips to using it correctly and ever since then it has worked great. I do get the occasional itching and burning feeling but I too think the benefit of using it out weighs the itching.

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis: I have been using Drysol for close to 16 years now... I love it. My story is very similar to several I have read on this site. I had a terrible problem with underarm sweat - to the point of putting wash cloths under my arms. It was so bad I could not wear sweaters in the winter because I would soak them. When I started using Drysol I had the typical itching and burning for a few weeks. The more I have used it the less the problem. Now, I only itch if I get too far out from under my arm pit and put the solution on skin not used to it. When I first started using Drysol I was an every other day user. Now, in the winter I can go 6 to 8 days. In the summer I go 3 to 4 days - I live in Atlanta, GA and we reach 98 yesterday.

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis: I have had excessive underarm sweat ever since I was 14. I tried Drysol when I was in High School but didnt follow the directions properly, being young a dumb I just thought it didn't work. Years have gone by and I have tried everything from underarm pads, to every antiperspirant under the sun. When I seriously thought about getting botox, I thought I would try Drysol ONE more time. I followed the directions to a T and after one night of use I didn't even have a drop of sweat the next day. I'm so impressed and wish I had tried it again a lot sooner. I recommend this to ANYONE who suffers from hyperhidrosis, it is a life changer. I was getting anxiety, not wanting to work in fear of someone seeing my sweat. I have never been so happy.

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis: I have really enjoyed the control over my excessive underarm sweating that Drysol has given me. I use it about twice a week. Occasionally it stings so bad I have to wash it off before the night is finished. The wetness control far outweighs the stinging sensation. No more embarrassing nervous moments.

Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis: I've had excessive sweating in my arm pits since middle school. I was always the girl who couldn't wear long sleeves or T-shirts. I'd even sweat in tank top during winter! So horrible and so embarrassing! I am 21 now and over a year ago my doctor prescribed Drysol and it has worked miracles for me. I can wear anything I want and in any color because I don't even have one drop of sweat. I'm so thankful and I hope that anyone with excessive sweating can hear about Drysol sooner than later for the same help!
Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis: I just want to share this because I didn't see it on any other post. I've been using Drysol for over two weeks now on my forehead and scalp (yeah, weird place to sweat, I know) and it has been awesome. Before this I would always get salty sweat into my eyes while playing sports or dancing... that time has gone! Thanks Drysol!
Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis: For some reason the stinging only happens to me when I use it at night. To avoid the stinging I now use it in the morning after I shower and towel off. The day I use it, I don't wear clothes that I worry about staining. Drysol has worked fantastic for years under my arms. I now only have to use it about once a week. Unfortunately, no matter how I use it on my feet it hasn't helped them.
Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis: So I was a lil weary when I was prescribed this. I had tried a bunch of other "Clinical Strength" products and nothing really worked. But I gave it a go anyway. I have to say I'm amazed. The first night I used too much and it burned, but the next day I had not a drop of sweat under my arm. Nothing....dry as a bone. I am so glad, this medicine is like a miracle to me.
Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis: I used Louis Widmer up until now: no irritation at all and works perfectly. This Drysol product stings, and doesn't work nearly as good.
Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis: I have been using Drysol for about 10 years. The whole story is ladies do not shave or use if you have any cuts. Also do not use the plastic, roll it on or put it on very lightly and a small amount (I use a tee shirt with short sleeves that is slightly tight under the arm). I used it for the first 3 days and since then I use it about twice a month in the winter and once a week in the summer. I live in Florida..it works. I was a wet bucket before.
Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis: Ever since I was 12 my sweating under my arms has been horrendous and when my first prom came around and I had the most gorgeous dress I decided it was enough. Went to the doctor and got DrySol. I love it and I can now wear whatever I want when I want, including my grey T-shirts!
Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis: Perfect. I saw results in the first use. I am not exaggerating. Within 3 days, I could wear tight, grey T-shirts with NO marks. I never even imagined that would be possible. It had gotten to the point where I could only wear white or black T-shirts. I can now wear whatever I want. It is a dabber that you dab on your armpits at night then wash off in the morning. It is a little uncomfortable at first, but if you truly sweat as much as I did, you will know that 15 minutes of discomfort at night is worth being able to finally take off that sweater covering your marks and not being embarrassed and holding back for the whole day. In fact, Drysol is so strong I have had to cut back to using it every other day. You will be amazed with your results.
Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis: Used this last night for the first time on hands, feet, and underarms. By the time I was done applying it and got into bed, the plastic wrap around my hands and feet had little droplets of moisture inside, and I had sweated big circles under the arms of my t-shirt. I was very discouraged! I felt no burning/stinging/itching whatsoever. Woke up, washed it all off and so far, I am sweating still, but only about half of normal. Pretty good product - hope it gets better!
Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis: I started using Drysol about 9 years ago and it has been amazing! I was sweating in my hands, feet, and armpits and now it has gotten to the point were I can apply it twice a month and I can last a long time without sweating. I am so glad I found it. I would recommended for everyone. If it doesn't work for you the first time keep trying it. It might eventually start working.
Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis: Drysol is one of those rare cases where the product works exactly as advertised. The first day I used it, I already saw a dramatic difference in my sweating. And I am not talking just a little bit less sweat, I am talking literally none. Application is as simple as putting it on before you go to bed (a few dabs on each armpit) and then showering in the morning.
Now, there are two small flaws to this product:
1. As some others had mentioned, Drysol can be a little irritating to the skin. The applied area might sting a little or be itchy, but it's nothing terrible.
2. Because Drysol is essentially closing the pores in your armpits to achieve results, this does lead to more sweating in some areas, if you have heavy forehead/back sweat.
Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis: The development of medicine has finally reached it's peak. I've had a bad issue with sweating from the forehead/face for several year's and didn't think there would be a simple solution. Having a job where I'm involved in many meetings, the least bit of nervousness or anxiety and the sweat would just start pouring out at a faster rate making it very embarassing in the work environment. I've only had this product for 1 week, but after one use I have not had one drop of sweat come off my forehead. Needless to say, it has almost given me a renewed sense of confidence. Worth it's weight in gold!!
Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) for Hyperhidrosis: Drysol works amazing for me! The only reason I rate it a 9 is because of the burning and itching I get every night. I really don't care though because its worth it to not have even one drop of sweat. I guess I have it worse than most because I have to use it every day or I will start sweating again.
