Xanax (alprazolam) for Depression: I love Xanax. I wish I could take it daily but my doctor won't prescribe it to me for daily use, because she doesn't want me to get addicted to it. I only take Xanax on rare occasions, when I was extremely distraught. It made me feel better instantly. I've only taken 25 mg, but that was more than enough to make everything seem great. I was aware that my problems still existed, but I wasn't overwhelmed by them. It made me feel warm and happy. I've taken other drugs before and Xanax is by far, the best choice.

Xanax (alprazolam) for Anxiety: During the recession of the early 90's I took this drug for a period of about 2 months to combat anxiety. The doctor first tried prozac but that didn't work for me at all. As soon as I started taking Xanax I began to feel better. I was able to put worrying thoughts into perspective. I highly recommend it.

Xanax (alprazolam) for Depression: I am being treated for severe depression. I take 150mg of Zoloft once a day and 1mg of Xanax a day. It has taken me a long time to get on medication for my condition but I am glad I decided to now. I feel completely calm and haven't felt depressed since I started taking both of these. It's been 4 months now.

Xanax (alprazolam) for Anxiety: Xanax is a miracle for me. I can't live without it. It is not addicting. I never experienced withdrawl symptoms either. I am usually tense, high strung and anxious. Xanax makes me happy, easy going, talkative, calm. It helps me sleep, I can't sleep without it. I take zoloft and seroquel but without xanax nothing seems to work or help me. I love xanax and I take it daily or else I really just can't get through the day. I have anger and a short fuse and bad temper and xanax calms my storms. Xanax is the only thing that works for me and makes me sane and able to face life head on.

Xanax (alprazolam) for Anxiety: I don't have panic or depression problems. I have sleeping problems. I fall asleep fine, but wake up around 2 AM and cannot go back to sleep because my mind is too active thinking about stupid stuff like movies, lawn mowers, hunting, visiting my grandkids, working on my car, music, planned projects, football, YOU NAME IT. I take Xanax when I wake up earky and can't sleep. Xanax makes me go back to sleep almost immediately and I wake up around 6 AM feeling great. I have not noted any side effects, but I take it only when needed.

Xanax (alprazolam) for Anxiety: My anxiety gave me depersonalization. Whenever I take xanax it clears right up for me, especially if I run out of Klonopin. It's a great back up that helps me when that sudden feeling of panic creeps up on me.

Xanax (alprazolam) for Panic Disorder: I was suffering from panic attacks for over a decade. I am now 39 and towards that time of the month it becomes worse. Today I went to the doctor to get some Xanax and I was surprised to learn how fast acting it is. I fell like I could go to sleep though. But I sure am feeling better already.

Xanax (alprazolam) for Anxiety: After taking this medication I feel very tranquil. I am an easy going person when I take it. I am calm and I don't have that high feeling I hate. I am coherent but calm. No one really bothers me. It's a miracle because before I used it my husband used to get on my nerves, my kids would get under my skin at the grocery market. I wanted to knock out someone but now I am a nice calm person that can be approached and even has fun.

Xanax (alprazolam) for Panic Disorder: I didn't realize all the stress that I had been under. I'd actually experienced a panic attack for the first time at 23 while I was driving home from college. I thought that I was going to die. I was frightened by the entire experience. I went to my doctor who prescribed me with the lowest dose of Xanax in addition to 20mg Prozac. About three months later my doctor decided to increase my Prozac to 30mg. I haven't needed Xanax for months, but I keep it on me where ever I go. Xanax is so fast acting. It calms my nerves instantly.

Xanax (alprazolam) for Panic Disorder: I have suffered from severe panic attacks for 15 years. Xanax is the ONLY medicine that has helped me. I don't take it 3 times daily as prescribed. I take it only when I have a panic attack. It works wonders!

Xanax (alprazolam) for Depression: I have severe depression and general anxiety disorder. I take 100mg/day of Zoloft, and that pretty well takes care of my depression, and most of my panic attacks. Occasionally, I'll take 0.25mg for a panic attack, but I'm cautious because sometimes the downside of coming off a panic attack sends me into a fit of depression. I highly recommend both Zoloft and Xanax, I just want to put the word out there to use good judgement when treating a panic attack when you have depression as well.

Xanax (alprazolam) for Panic Disorder: With the panic attacks I get it seems Xanax works fairly fast, when I feel one coming on, or even when I am in the middle of one. It calms me down, and I can cope. I have taken it for several years, and have felt no side effects. I am glad it is available to me.

Xanax (alprazolam) for Panic Disorder: I have used Xanax since 1996. I love it. It has saved my life so many times, I can't count. I have gone through different times in my life, where I had to take 9mgs a day just to survive the panic attacks. My attacks come in cycles. I have had them since 7 years old and I am now 39. I am so tired of them and feeling them. I had a big one today as a matter of fact. I am going through withdrawl of getting off of Lexapro. I am never without my Xanax though. Simply carrying it around helps keep off the panic attacks sometimes. If I hadn't had it, I would have been put away or had killed myself long ago, because having panic attacks is no way to live.
