Norco (acetaminophen / hydrocodone) for Pain: "Taking this for a very painful dental abscess. It's been a God send. Got my first significant bit of sleep in days. It does give me dry mouth, so if you take it for dental reasons Biotene mouthwash is helpful."

For Cough: "I have been struggling with a nagging cough for over a month, went to the doctor twice, finally I called them back yesterday because I was getting no relief, hadn't sleep in days, was driving my husband & coworkers nuts with my hacking. When they called me back & told me they were calling Loratab in to the pharmacy, I was confused & my coworkers were skeptical & thought my doctors office made a mistake...so I researched it & found it can actually be used for this purpose. Within 10 minutes I was finally going longer than 30 seconds without coughing for the first time in weeks. Needless to say, myself & everyone else = AMAZED. Who woulda thought..."

For Pain: "I get shoulder and neck pain, also very painful headaches. Norco 7.5/325 made my life possible to recover and cope. I've been on all the strong stuff and hydrocodone works almost as well as your "high potency" opiates. For me I give it a 10 it helps the pain and allows me to function."

For Cough: "I took one for another pain issue, but I was also suffering a severe cough at the time. Cough went away, almost like magic. Didn't really put the two together, until I did it again, next day. But like what another writer posted, take too much and prepare for some awful hallucinations. I only take half dose. The nausea side effect can get annoying as well."

For Back Pain: "After 4 lumbar surgeries, pain in my legs and lower back were extremely intense with a maximum sitting time of 10 minutes before pain reach a 9. I worked with a pain management clinic and was prescribed hydrocodone. This pain reliever helped for about 6 months and then the pain seemed to have increased to an unmanageable level. I worked with the pain management center and was prescribed Nucynta ER 200mg. The combination of Nucynta and Hydrocodone provide a level of pain relief that makes life tolerable. I can work a 45 hr week provided I have the pain relievers. Without the pain relievers I would likely be not able to work. "

Lortab (acetaminophen / hydrocodone) for Back Pain: "I have had 3 surgeries regarding my spine. 2 neck operations, 1 low back discetomy. I have been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease. I have elected several times to go without the medication to see how my body responds on other over the counter medications. Nothing worked. I also tried alternative medication prescribed from my pain management doctor to see if that would work, it did not. I have been taking Lortab 7.5 for 6yrs now responsibly and without it I have very poorly controlled pain."

For Cough: "Horrible sore throat combined with nonstop coughing. It was painful to say the least. Took the Vicodin and stopped coughing. I had tried everything over the counter, teas, honey lemon, vaporizer, vapor rubs, hot showers, etc. This is the only thing that stopped the coughing."

Lortab (acetaminophen / hydrocodone) for Pain: "Works extremely well for my pain. Chronic back pain and dislocated hip joint. Works better if taken as soon as pain begins. Highly addictive and well known street drug. Never tell anyone, teenagers, thst you have them. Take only ax needed as needed because of tolerance build up."

Norco (acetaminophen / hydrocodone) for Pain: "Dating back to 1960, it seems like I've been plagued with pain every day of my life. Most of the time a small amount of aspirin will eliminate the issue. But there are days when almost nothing will end the pain. Since I began taking Norco 3-4 years ago - up to three, 10-325 mg tablets a day, life has been a genuine pleasure. I'm still experiencing daily pain. But it is very seldom severe. And when it is, that's only because I forgot I'm 74 years old and spent the day working in the yard like an 18 year-old. I can't begin to name all the pain-killers I've used in my life. But Norco is, by far, the most effective."

Norco (acetaminophen / hydrocodone) for Back Pain: "I'm a former parole officer who suffered a back injury from a parolee assaulting and escaping from jail back in 1989. I had tried everything for relief of severe back flare-ups that occur and the resulting pain I have in my back, legs and neck frequently. Norco was prescribed by my doctor about 3 years ago and I cannot believe the results from this medication. I am very happy that this medication has allowed me to carry on a normal life again."

Vicodin (acetaminophen / hydrocodone) for Pain: "I was prescribed Vicodin as a rescue med for migraine. I've only used it 3 times but have had to cease using it because it makes me itchy all over my body. I don't get a rash, just very itch, it drives me nuts. I was taking 2 x 10/325 tablets (after taking 4 mg Zofran). It doesn't completely take away my migraine. I can still function. I need a little nap, then I can get up and work, drive car etc. It did wonders for my neck and back pain I am currently getting physio on, but it hasn't been a wonder rescue drug for migraine. I've been given a different narcotic rescue med to try. Hopefully I won't need to use it. I am on Depakote as a preventative and use Cambia as an abortive. These both work well, especially if I take the Cambia early."

Lorcet 10/650 (acetaminophen / hydrocodone) for Back Pain: "Very effective, helps daily motivation in terms of getting going without that shocking, nagging pain. Its depressing but helps the body function where without the medication its demotivating and furthers the negative aspect of ones well-being and self worth toward a productive life and social feeling of being needed. The medication simply assists me to function where without I am no longer an asset to anything up to this point in my life, including my own self esteem."

Lortab (acetaminophen / hydrocodone) for Pain: "In my experience this medication is pretty good but the only problem I have is, it makes me itch. My pharmacist says its not an allergy because I don't have a rash. I have found, if I take it soon enough after pain starts, it does pretty good at controlling it."

Norco (acetaminophen / hydrocodone) for Back Pain: "Two major lower back surgeries, was in major pain ! A Doctor told me about NORCO and I tried NORCO with great success for 10 years. I have always came back to the NORCO 10-325 because it did the job for me. NORCO 10-325 gave me my life back. My pain is under control with this product. "

For Pain: "Excruciating pain from swollen ear canal, whitehead on floor of ear canal in front of ear drum, and Otitis Externa. Began working in about 1 hr (Lortab 7.5/500) in 350 lb grown man. Took first time at approximately 12:35 PM, made me sleep from 1 to 5, didn't wear off until about 8:20 PM."
