SLACK Incorporated Appoints Simon VP of Meeting and Exhibit Services
THOROFARE, NJ Oct. 12, 2009– SLACK Incorporated is pleased to introduce its new SLACK Meeting and Exhibit Services Division, which will provide meeting management, exhibit sales and management and related services for association and SLACK meetings. To lead this new division, Robin Simon, CMP, has been named Vice President of Meeting and Exhibit Services.
Having worked for SLACK’s holding company, The Wyanoke Group, for more than 10 years, Simon brings more than 17 years of experience in meeting and exhibits management. As a Certified Meeting Planner, she holds the highest available credential for professional meeting planners – and has put that knowledge and training to use in managing hundreds of successful events around the globe. During her tenure at The Wyanoke Group, Simon served as Director of Healthcare Education Resources for SLACK, then more recently as Vice President of Meeting Services for Vindico Medical Education.
“As a CMP, Robin will apply her training and expertise to the benefit of our publication and association meetings and exhibits,” said John C. Carter, Chief Operating Officer of The Wyanoke Group. “Robin brings a unique set of skills – from one-hour lunch symposia to week-long exhibits, she has literally managed and participated in every facet of our meetings and exhibits services.
