New Study Provides Scientific Evidence That DermaLastyl Face Cream Reduces Wrinkles
NEW YORK, November 05, 2007 /PRNewswire/ -- DermaPlus, Inc., makers of DermaLastyl anti-aging skin creams, announced today the preliminary results of their 12-week clinical trial on the anti-aging effects of its skin creams. Renowned, anti-aging doctor, Dr. Steven Lamm, oversaw the study, in which 35 volunteers were imaged by a sophisticated technique called laser profilometry before and after using DermaLastyl for 12 weeks. The profilometry data and digital photographs were analyzed by computers to compare a series of parameters such as roughness, length and depth of wrinkles. The study results showed significant improvements in all parameters: 83% of the participants showed significant improvement in skin smoothness and reduction in the appearance of fines lines and wrinkles. The key ingredient in DermaLastyl products is Elastatropin, a synthetic form of natural elastin. Elastin, the second most abundant protein in the body, is responsible for the elasticity of skin and organs, and its degradation is a well-known irreversible cause of wrinkles.
