SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 04/11/11 -- Cytokinetics, Incorporated (NASDAQ: CYTK) announced today that an oral presentation of results from its Phase IIa "Evidence of Effect" (EoE) clinical trial of CK-2017357 in patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is scheduled to be presented as part of the Clinical Trials Session at the 63rd Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Neurology, to be held April 9-16, 2011 in Honolulu, Hawaii. CK-2017357, a fast skeletal muscle troponin activator, is the lead drug candidate from the company's skeletal muscle contractility program and the subject of a Phase IIa clinical trials program in patients with ALS, in patients with symptoms of claudication associated with peripheral artery disease, and in patients suffering from myasthenia gravis.
