Curis Announces Presentations at American Association for Cancer Research Annual Meeting 2009

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apr 9, 2009 - Curis, Inc. (NASDAQ: CRIS), a drug development company seeking to develop next generation proprietary targeted medicines for cancer treatment, today announced that it will present data on one of its proprietary oncology programs at the upcoming American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) 100th Annual Meeting to be held in Denver, CO at the Colorado Convention Center on April 18-22.

Curis scientists will make two presentations related to CUDC-305, the Company's orally available, synthetic small molecule Hsp90 inhibitor. CUDC-305 has recently completed GLP-toxicology testing and data suggests that CUDC-305 has a favorable safety profile. The Company anticipates filing an IND application for CUDC-305 in mid-2009 and is currently involved in discussions with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies regarding a potential collaboration for this compound. Curis is seeking to consummate such a collaboration in mid-2009.
