BioCryst Announces Presentation of Data Detailing Synergistic Activity of Forodesine HCl With Bendamustine in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL)
BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Dec. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. today announced that data detailing the synergistic in vitro activity of forodesine HCl with bendamustine in the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) will be presented at the annual meeting of the American Society of Hematology (ASH) in Atlanta, Georgia.
Roberto Alonso Gil, Ph.D., Hematopathology Unit, Clinic Hospital of Barcelona, is scheduled to present the data today, Monday, December 10, 2007, 2007, at 5:00 pm during a poster session titled, "CLL: Salvage Therapies and New Agents." This study was conducted in collaboration with Mundipharma, BioCryst's corporate partner in the development of forodesine HCl.
