Summary of Use during Lactation
No published experience exists with frovatriptan during breastfeeding. If frovatriptan is required by the mother, it is not a reason to discontinue breastfeeding. However, because frovatriptan has a long half-life of 25 to 30 hours, a shorter-acting alternate drug may be preferred, especially while nursing a newborn or preterm infant.
