Acyclovir (Zovirax) is a prescription medication used to treat the following conditions: Shingles; Genital herpes; Chickenpox.

Acyclovir is not habit forming, not an narcotic or a stimulant, Acyclovir is an antiviral medication that helps the body fight the infection. It does this by preventing the virus from multiplying.

For more info, please double check from the doc/pharmacist who prescribed the med.

Take care, best wishes!
