Zovia 1/50 - Is it common after switching brands of birth control to skip a period?

You would skip your period if you went straight from active tablets from your old oral contraceptive onto active tablets of your new oral contraceptive and had no 7-day pill free interval in between. If you have followed your doctors instructions on how to switch oral contraceptives you should be fine. If you are concerned speak with your doctor.
