Hello starr2. There is the benzodiazepine family of anxiety drugs. (except for the ones created strictly for sleeping ex.Dalmane, Halcion. There are the johnny on the spot, panic attack, high anxiety/stressfull moments and these are Xanax, Ativan amongst others. Then those for general anxiety disorder (GAD) Valium, Klonopin, Librium. All can become highly addictive and difficult to stop when the time is needed todo so. SSRI(s) Such as Paxil, Lexapro, and Prozac might be a benefit to anxiety. All do a fair job in fighting anxiety. Hi starr2 I was wondering about your caffine intake? Other foods and drinks that have a propencity to increase ones anxiety level? Depending on your present level of anxiety.

Thanks for your replies. I do have some xanax that
I can take but I try to avoid it if at all possible. I also
do need to cut down on my caffeine because I really
overdo it. Thanks again,
