Zithromax Z-Pak - Is it safe to drink alcohol while using?

You should NOT drink any alcohol while consuming antibiotics. It will basically neutralize the effects of the Z-Pak by drinking alcohol with it. You'll be wasting your time with the meds. Good luck.

Hi i know this response is long overdue, but i just came across your question... It is 'safe' to drink alcohol while taking a/b's but as the last member stated it will render the drug almost ineffective. You should wait 24 hours after completing the course and then you will be fine to drink.
