Where can you purchase Clopidogrel in the USA? If can't why not?

Plavix patent expired November 2011.

Unfortunately the patent did not expire in November. The FDA decided to extend the patent until May 17, 2012. Once this date is reached, then you will be able to purchase a generic in the USA. If you live in Europe you have been able to get the generic since 2009.
