When do you get your period when on ortho tri-cyclen lo?

You should get your period sometime during the week when you take the inactive tablets - these are the dark green tablets.

It may not happen the very day you start the inert or inactive pills. It may be 3-4 days into that week before you start your period. It is not unusual to be irregular during the first few months but even when you have been on BCP's a long time you wont start until you are a day or three into that inactive pill week. If you have been taking your pills without a miss, you should have been protected against pregnancy after your first 7 days. No worries!
