I am sure I have a fungus in my eye due to the fact that I had mold in my house. Now I have a floater in my left eye. Can I buy an anti-microbial type eye drop over the counter.?

Ok, the floater is natural and happens as we age. You will get used to it so you don't even notice it. There are no eye drops otc for infections. I don't think I've ever even seen a fungus infection in the eye. House mold usually doesn't infect us. We get our own kinds of fungus. What other symptoms do you have besides the floater?

A floater is not indicative of fungus. Floaters are caused when the vitreous (the jelly like filling of the eye) pulls away slightly from the retina and there may be a little "string" or spot that is actually the light making a shadow on the retina from the collagen debris in the vitreous and this is inside the eyeball itself and cannot be affected by anything from the air. There are no antimicrobials sold OTC and even if they were, it wouldnt help a floater or a fungus. Is the floater the only symptom you have?
