I suffer from headaches often (stress?) about 5 to10 a month and have tried: Tylenol, Fiorinal, Trexemet, Vicodin and all of the otc medications. Had MRI's and neurologist testing... The Vicodin seems to work the best especially when I have to be at work, but allot of the time it seems like I need something stronger but the doc says he wants to stay away from the vicodin/fiorinal because i'm already taking a controlled substance (adderal) any suggestions?

VICOPROFEN tablets are indicated for the short-term (generally less than 10 days) management of acute pain (acute pain: Pain that comes on quickly, can be severe, but lasts a relatively short time. As opposed to chronic pain.)
VICOPROFEN is not indicated for the treatment of such conditions as osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis.
Would listen to the advice of the doc. or seek a second opinion, hope you get well & stay well, hope this helps?
