My mother is 80 years old, has pneumonia and is being treated with Vancomycin. She recently had a stroke that left her with partial paralysis on the right side. She also has asthma.
Would Vancomycin IV be used to treat someone with Pneumonia?

Yes. It was used on me for my MRSA Pneumonia. I'm getting through some side effects but slowly and surely I'll be good as new.
