Regardless of what medication you are on, a neti pot may be your answer, and it contains no drugs. It is a small "teapot" shaped vessel which you fill with warm saline solution. You then tip your head forward and to the side, and pour the solution into your nostril. This will clean out your sinus of any mucous buildup, infection, allergens, etc, and the saline solution will pour our of your other nostril. Repeat on the other side daily, even when your sinuses are not bothering you. Neti pots are fairly cheap. You can find them in a drugstore or at Swanson Vitamins.com. I find that company to be the most reasonable with their prices, and they have very good specials monthly.

prescribed for fungal infections of the blood, mouth, throat, or central nervous system to treat and prevent opportunistic fungal infections that inflict many people with either HIV or cancer whose immune systems have been compromised, is this look like it has color to the mucous? any fever? chronic drainage? I would discuss the use of this with either a pharmacist or physician, if it deals with bacteria that may be one thing if its just sinus there may be another drug that is just as effective or even moreso.
