No, it is not listed as a possible side effect, contact your Dr. and let him or her know what you are experiencing.

On second thought ,you say it is severe, I suggest someone drives you to the ER... better safe than sorry.-

Could be you have a touchy vein up there that likes to bleed. I had this at one time & my doctor cauterized it with a silver nitrate stick. Problem solved. You could also be low on vitamin K, so best to see your doctor if this continues...
