I haven't ever heard of Demerol being kept in the fridge, take a look at the expiration date on the vial also before you ever inject a dose discuss this with a doctor not less than a pharmacist and tell him how this was stored and for the length of time, Our Emergency rooms are not going to continue to use Demerol any more they feel if it's necessary to use a potent narcotic such as even close to Demerol then they prefer to use something such as Dilaudid.
but double check this I am concerned about this being safe, and another thing Demerol is a short acting narcotic and in some patients causes rebound pain so just double check with a professional before you ever use this. Its imperative that you are safe. is this is 50mg per cc vial? a 30cc vial? I want you to be safe and the best you can be Caringsonbj
5 years concerns me

Even if this is just less potent the fact that it is injectable makes this even more of an issue, if it is not what it should be and is injected then there is always the possibility of it causing you problems.
