Does it work to take 5 mg of pilocarpine before bed to keep from having dry mouth while asleep?

I don't need to take it during the day because I am always chewing gum or drinking water.

Pilocarpine increases saliva secretion in the mouth and is used in the treatment of dry mouth.
It should work. Try it and if it doesn't talk with your doctor as you may need to increase your dose.
