she is only 4 months old and dont think she has laid and egg yet. she seems in a lot of discomfort and wants to sort of lay on her side, havent seen her eating either and a couple of sips of water only... quite wobbly too. any suggestions, she is a molted houdan and not your run of the mill hen. Can you help me. thanks

You really need to talk to a vet. Sorry, don't really know that much about chickens.

thank you for responding, unfortunately upon closer look this morning, she has maggots on her rear end, decision was made. Obviously she was infected so put her out of her misery... oh woe is me, but I do feel better now that she isnt suffering. thanks again
