if you are just starting Yasmin, No, you aren't truly safe from pregnancy until after you have taken the 1rst 21 active pills correctly. A better choice at this point would be PlanB and that is available at the pharmacy but you have to ask for it. PlanB works but will mess your cycle up. Your post is not really clear, I understood it as, I had unprotected sex and now am starting Yasmin, if this is not correct, please re-phrase or call your prescribing dr for mor info.
