Weight gain does not appear to be a side effect of Thorazine.

Yes it will if you are taking 100mg two or 3 times a day,then for sure. It makes u feel relaxed and disinterested in things active over time. As a result, activities like eating and watching tv become more desireable. Also, it slows down your metabolism by keeping you inactive. So even if you don't eat more you will still put on weight
