im at 80-120mg of perceset per day. if i cut to 30-40 p/day(how long?) and then take a pill only when i really hurt will it eventually leave my system? will this strategy work? if so how long for each step to try and trick/ween myself off? i cant take off work and i work 6 days a week. I AM SO TIRED OF THIS!! i gotta quite, but i cant withdrawel!!!

also is it possible to see a doctor who can perscribe smtg or things to detox? go see the doc, tell the situation, and be perscribed JUST what i need to help me kick. i want to quite!...not looking to be perscribed smtg else, just the needed amount to detox. and is an outpatient methadone clinic a strategy?...I JUST WANT OFF!!!

Although withdrawal symptoms with Percocet are not dangerous, they can be unpleasant. They can be so uncomfortable that people start taking the drug again in order to relieve these symptoms. In order to limit withdrawal, you should not stop taking Percocet "cold turkey." The doc can slowly decrease the dose at a rate that helps minimize withdrawal symptoms.
Above all you need is the will power to quit, please try to be strong so that you are able to quit, seeking help from a doc would be a good idea, please try it.

if i was to decrease my intake to as little as possible(i imagine 5mg every 6 hrs or so) would my dependency start to lesson, and therefore possibly be able to take another cut-back. if so, how long of this kind of intake til i can possibly be able to ween myself off. i have heard of diff decline strategies to try. honestly i am not getting these scripts from a doctor. also r u schooled in these areas?
