I'm 19 & I was diagnosed with PCOS at 15. I have never had a period & am desperate to find anything that would work. I've had the depo shot & it did absolutely nothing but put me in a horrible mood for 3 months at a time. I was thinking about asking my doctor about clomid because I read somewhere that it can induce ovulation which would cause a period. I'm currently taking Phentermine to lose the weight I've gained between the depo & PCOS. & I was also told Metformin could help. Any opinions?

Clomid stimulates the release of hormones necessary for ovulation to occur. It is mainly used for treating female infertility.
Clomid is used to stimulate ovulation (the release of an egg) when a woman's ovaries can produce a follicle but hormonal stimulation is deficient.
From my understanding, Clomid will only work if you have started your cycle with a period. If you are serious about becoming pregnant then I would suggest that you see your doctor ... they can give you something to induce a period. All the best.

Is Mononessa Tablets helpful to regulate a period with having Pcos?

I read somewhere that it could be used for the treatment of amenorrhea (the absence of periods). Although I honestly have no clue myself. My doctor doesn't really seem like she wants to try anything besides depo provera (which I've been on for 9+ months & no results) so I've been researching everything on my own & pretty much getting nowhere. Which is why I came here. Do you know of any medications that could induce a period?
Provera can induce a period.
I would urge you to see a gynecologist. They need to assess you first, if they do give you Provera and Clomid then they will need to monitor you as there are risks of multiple pregnancies, etc.
Okay. Thankyou! (:
