Cephalexin is an antibiotic typically used to treat infections including ear infections, skin infections, and urinary tract infections.
You should not take the cephalexin as it was not prescribed for you.
If your cold is not going away or showing no signs of improvement see your
doctor or pharmacist.
Antibiotics will not help the symptoms of a common cold (which is caused by a virus). They are prescribed only if there is evidence of bacterial complications.
