It was the only thing that worked for my headaches and when I went to two different Walgreens in Aurora I was told it was recalled.
Why was Excedrin pulled from the shelves in Aurora?

Have you asked the pharmacist at your Walgreens? It may be due to opiate pain medication accidently added to several OTC medications, many have been recalled because they were contaminated.
Please call different pharmacy's and supermarkets in your area to locate your excedrin.

SL is right, it was recalled due to some machinery malfunctions at the plant and they were afraid that some opioid pain meds could have been left in the machines then accidentally transferred into the Excedrin so they pulled all of those lots. It is only temporary. They should get a new shipment soon!
