Surely in this day and age doctors know better than to give amphetamines to primary school children and they should be allowing kids to simply grow out of their childish behaviour as they develope and mature naturally. What is natural about SPEED ? It is pure poison and probably one of the most unhealthy things you could give to a growing child. It even stunts growth for gods sake. The only people to benefit are greedy pharmaceutical companies!
Why is ritalin not banned when it can cause sudden death and heart defects in children ?

Hi, couldn´t agree more with you. My 7 year old has adhd and for the past 2 years the doctors have been trying to convince me to use ritalin even though he has a very small hole in the heart from birth. In Spain you pay 128 euros for 30 tablets but it can be as much as 270 for the highest dose for 30 days supply,although in Spain you only pay 40% it still works out a lot over a year or two. Sounds like the farmacuetical companies have a nice little earner,no wonder they want kids to take it!

Really GOOD stuff to know NOT JUST OPINION but COLD HARD FACTS FROM THE PROS. Check it out whether you're for or against meds. like Ritalin.
Other than that my answer would only be my person opinion and it is this if "THEY" REALLY wanted everyone to get well they would do more extensive studies or research on how to improve natural alternatives that don't have serious side effects which would really help people with ADD/ADHD, buuuUUT I guess the FDA's clients "PHARM-COMPANIES" would'nt be too happy with thaaat.

Hello If you have been told your 7 year old has ADHD I would be very skeptical indeed. Please try and read "The ADHD Fraud : How psychiatry makes patients out of normal children" by Fred Baughman MD and neurologist. Not every doctor agrees that ADHD exists because its not something that can be proven scientifically like a real disease. It is a manufactured illness and it is making a fortune for the pharmaceutical industry. Also many psychiatrists have financial ties to drug companies. Profit is coming before childrens health. Please let your little boy grow up naturally. Don't let him be labelled with pseudoscience.
