Griseofulvin is a pregnancy category C and this is the warning for a Cat. C in my PDR. Adverse effects have been demonstrated in animals, but there are insufficient data in pregnant women. In certain clinical situations, the benefit of the medication could outweigh possible risks. i don't know if this helps but you could mention this to your OB/GYN and see what he/she says. Your pharmacist might be able to give you more information as well. Good luck, marjorie zych
