leroni have no thyroids, no parathyroids and had a tumor in my pituitary the doctors think i have mem1 what am i suppose to do besides all the other problems i have???
Why in this day and age with all the problems this pill causes have they not found something safer?

Hi, can you ask this again as a discusion type question? I've been on several types of thyroid suppliments-sometimes my thyroid goes up to hyper or down to hypo-out of range. It seems to happen about every 6 years. So I have some questions. I understand about the tumor on the pituitary gland. Had a friend that went through that. But what is mem1 ? Can you tell us about this, so maybe somebody can give you some advice? What meds are you on now? This way we can understand what meds are bothering you or what meds you are looking for-or what type of symptoms are bothering you. I'll friend you-and you can talk to me-if you friend me I can talk to U. But your best option is to reask this question and mark it as a discussion, where we can think about this.

i do not know much about asking as a discussion type question as i am pretty new to this computer stuff. I am on the same thyroid meds i have been on for years now they just keep uping the dosage. it is either mem1 or men1 i just know if it gets to my pancreas i will get cancer of it and die. i really do not know if you really want to friend me as i am on so much medication that i can support you but i cannot quit mine as i have way to many things wrong with me and i take a lot of pain pills and muscle relaxers and am also severely by-polar so there are days i cant even get out of bed as i have run myself ragged and then have heavy crashes. the Drs were so fascinated by my case they wanted to do a whole family history on me at U.of M. hospital as apparently i am a rare case and somewhere along the line someone in my family tree had to of had it. still do not quite understand what it is but i should look it up on this site now. So if you still want to be my friend here i would welcome it but i also understand if you dont
Leron-first I know that you didn't say anything about insulting anybody. We've had some trouble with the site, but we're good people. I made a post today and it completely dissapeared.
You aren't alone here about having lots of problems. There are all types of thyroid medicines. Could you tell us the name of your thyroid medicine, as is written on your bottle? Then we can figure out some of what you're going through, or at least try.

i take synthroid 200 mcgs a day besides all the other crap i have to put down my throat. they have to keep uping the dosage as i have no thyroids at all or paratyroids. my throat has been ripped open three times for surgical removals and i am scared they are going to have to do it again as now i have a pocket on the left side of my throat that fills up with fluids and crap and its right next to my artery in my neck and i do not think i can go through another surgery. i would rather pass on. sorry if i sound so melancholy but all my ailments get to me sometimes and today is not good
