Why has my doctor limited me to only 3 Maxalt a week (I am in relatively healthy condition)?

How many times a week do you experience migraines? Maxalt does not prevent or reduce the number of migraines you may be experiencing; it only helps relieve the symptoms. If you think you need the med more often, then you should talk with your doctor about this or you might ask him/her for an alternative miraine med. Good luck.
