Why does nardil have to be kept in a fridge?

I do not believe it needs to be. According to the package insert:
"Storage:
Store between 15° - 30°C (59° - 86°F)."
According to Lexicomp and micromedex I get the same plus protect from light.
May I ask where you got this. It also might be a new formulation that requires it. Your best bet would be to talk with your local pharmacist.

I was on nardil for over 20yrs untill it was not prescribed where I live and it always had to be stored in fridge. i have now been re-prescribed them as now available again and tabs have a 'Fridge' sticker on them.
