They take your license due to the possibility that you can fall asleep at any time without warning which is severely dangerous when driving and with the cataplexy you also lose control of the muscles! For more information

i've been told that u can still have a drivers licence if the condition is properly medicated and the sleep attacks or cataplectic turns are under sutible control.
